Butterfly Basics

How about putting together some little 3 x 3" cards to have on hand for different occasions?
To achieve this little packaging start with a basic sized envelope.  I stamped the fern twice on the front.   Then add a belly band to wrap around the envelope to hold it closed.   I punched out two different sized circle to hold the butterfly in the center.

You can see the five different cards I created with the set just by using basic black ink and crumb cake cardstock.
  See how easy it is!
Here's the finished project.
The envelope is filled with the 3 x 3" notecards

Thinking of You

Good morning lovelies!  this is my Instagram post this morning.  Wanted to share with you.  Be intentional throughout your day, everything is contagious.......#everythingmatters #beintentional #contagious #betrue #behaveoutthere.

Using one of the Paper Pumpkin stamp sets from October 2015.
I traced a circle onto the paper and then stamped the leaves in a circle all the way around in black ink.   Then stamp the different sized flowers on color cardstock of your choice and cut out and add to the wreath.   Choose one of the stamp sayings to stamp in the center and add a bow.

Paper Flowers

I'm getting ready to dive into this beautiful book of Proverbs from She Reads Truth.  Have you heard of She Read Truth?   Check out their Facebook page HERE
I am beginning a women's study on this book and thought it would be fun for the women to make the flower bookmarks.  Every picture in the book is photographed with paper flowers.  You cannot even  tell they are paper.  Unbelievable!

Are you local and want to join in on the study?   message me so we can order your book and get you dialed in!
And if your not local join in too!  order a book and get started!
You can order your book HERE

The flowers are made by punching out 5 petals from your flower punch and putting them all together with a mini brad.  Then take a spritz bottle and lightly spray the flower and put in the palm of your hand and scrunched up.  Take out your Aqua painter and dip into your ink color choice.  I used Melon Mambo and run the color along the edges of the petals and let dry.  Then using a glue gun attach flower to the large gold brad.

Pop of Pink

So I have showed you in the last few posts some ideas for Washi Tape.  Here's another.  Take your tape and using scrap paper.  put about 4 strips of washi tape.   Then take any size circle punch and punch out different size circles.   I used 3 to 4 difference size circles.  Then attach to the front of card and add stamp image.

New Catalog is live!

Showing you a continuation of the use of washi tape for your cardmaking.   Start this card by cutting out with the framelit heart  image in the center.

Once you cut out the heart, take a pencil and trace the heart onto the melon mambo paper.

Now start layering your Pop of Pink washi tape so that you cover the heart so that you can not see the cardstock where you traced the heart.

Once the washi tape is all down add the top layer of the card, add your ribbon and stamp your message.\

Here it is!
In all it's glory...... the 2016/17 catalog!
