Word Bubble Washi tape style

Since I have been showing a lot lately made with
the word bubbles,
I thought I would show you how to make one with your washi tape.
Take a look below for the instructions......

And here's how it goes!
Start with a piece of white cardstock- 3 3/4" x 5", take a pencil and draw a bubble towards the middle of the card as shown.

Take your washi tape,  I have used Stampin Up! Retro fresh.....

Using your Stampin Up! cutting blade, cut around the traced bubble you created and peel away.....

It will look like this...... (below)
Now stamp into the bubble area,

Shamrock tealights

How stinkin cute are these little shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day!
I found the idea online while looking for something else!
So here's how you make them:

Cut three pieces of cardstock or designer paper, your choice at
5/8" x 5 1/2".  Take all three pieces and fold each in half to create your three hearts.  I used a pencil to roll the top of the hearts so that they were easier to glue into the shape of the heart.  Also,  I found that hot glue worked best.  To wrap the tealight I cut mine at
5/8" x 4 1 /2", but make sure and measure your tealight as they come in all different sizes.  Once all three hearts are made then glue the outer two the the middle one and then glue to the tealight.

Rainbow Seeds

Ready for some St. Patrick's Day fun!  I saw this idea on pinterest,  I have soooo many skittles left over from our Super Bowl party so I put them to use.   Just bag them up and top them by punching out the top note die for the Big Shot machine, fold over.  I punched out the apothecary label and used our Stampin Up! markers to write "rainbow".

St Paddy's Cards

Try something new today!  get out your Heart framelits and make this shamrock card.  Take your heart and a pencil and trace the heart onto the cardstock where you want it to be.  Cut them out with your Big Shot machine.  I decided to make two different cards one with our silver glimmer paper and the other with our garden green designer paper.   Below shows you how to add color to your silver glimmer paper, take out your classic ink pad and a sponge dauber and slowly rub the desired colored ink onto the glimmer paper and there you have  colored glimmer paper.  I used the garden green ink pad.

.  The above card is made with the garden green designer paper and below is the garden green glimmer paper.
Which one do you like?

Valentine Cookie Box

More valentine goodies happening here!  someone gave me these cute red chevron fry boxes some time ago.  I decided to put them to use.  I used our SU! paper doilies, coastal cabana punched hearts
and the Expression thinlit die. I filled them with some chocolate dipped valentine heart cookies.

This one is a kraft colored fry box that I ran through the Big Shot with the chevron embossing folder # 127749 for $7.95

I filled the fry boxes with these yummy shortbread chocolate dipped cookies I found at Costco.  They are in the bakery dept, I packaged them up in the cello bags and tied them with ribbon.
They are delish!!!

Sleeping Beauty and Love Banner

What an incrediable day yesterday was!  I had the wonderful opportunity to get to take my youngest daughter Shaelyn to the Pacific Northwest Ballet production of Sleeping Beauty.  It was so magical and amazing!  The costumes, the set, and all the elements together,  aaaahhhhh, breathtaking.  After the ballet we went out for a fabulous lunch.  Like I said,  great day, it was friday, the sun was out,  the ballet, a day with my princess, lunch.  Oh the blessings!  Here are a few pictures I thought I would share......

I saw this banner that Gina from Luv 2 Stamps made and decided to make a version from it.
It was the project for my Mom and Me class last week.
