Happy Halloween! and Banner Class

Happy Halloween all!  Have a fang-tastic day celebrating!
Getting ready for some Halloween fun! we made these Bloody Glasses today so they would dry overnight for our "spooky" dinner tomorrow night.  Look for the recipe below.  It just took a few minutes to mix up and dip into the mixture.
Red Caramel Blood Drips
1 C of sugar
1/2 light corn syrup
1/4 c of hot water
1/4 teaspoon red food coloring
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir until sugar is moistenend.  Heat saucepan over medium heat until mixture reaches soft boiling stage, about 4 to 6 minutes.  Remove from heat and cool completely.  Once cooled take your glasses and lightly dip them in the mixture, set upright to dry.  (you don't want to have much on the glass, just a little bit so that it runs down the glass slightly.  Allow caramel to dry overnight if possible.

There is still room in this friday's Fall Banner class, email me to register, juliepitta@rocketmail.com
The class is this friday, Nov 2nd at 10 am to noon - cost is $20.00

Last night was Duct Tape Challenge at our church and Shae designed her own dress!  I had to wrap her natrually but boy did she do a great job!  They had sooo much fun.  We made this by using her Daddy's old t-shirt.  She drew what she wanted her dress to look like, then I started to wrap her til we were done.  It only took us 40 minutes to make!  gasp!
Who knew you could create like this with duct tape!

Mummy's Coffin

Happy friday Stampers and Crafters!  So the other day I posted a very cute muumy coffin I received at Regionals.  My friend Kirstin and I found these cute boxes of Mummy's Mix Mike and Ikes.  She came up with the superb idea of covering them in a LARGE scale compared to little cute one we traded at regionals.  It is always so fun stamping with Kirstin,  we both started in figuring out how to make a template.  There's my way which is eye balling, no measuring and some how it works out, and then there's her way, measuring, methodical (the right way, by the way!) and it looks fabulous!  So here is the end result:  these are LARGE like I said  8" x 3 1/2"  So fun to give to your friends, teachers  you can think of someone, maybe your "Mummy!"  hahaaa!
Email me if you are interested in the template........

Side Note- Was not expecting so many responses on wanting the template!  I will get it uploaded today so that you can click on it to download!   Thanks everybody!  (added 10/7 )
