Sharing with you a bit of a "country" vibe card.

I went through some of my retired designer paper

and found this checked one.

If you don't have some, find a style you like.

I used the heart shape framelit to cut out the heart.

Layered the piece up over a solid piece of cardstock 

and stamp your greeting. 

Don't forget to stamp the inside~

Oven skirt curtain

Well hello!

Want to add a little warmth to your kitchen?

Your stove can go from this......

to this!  How adorable is this!

I found this valance on Amazon and you just tie it right onto

the handle of the stove. 

It might be hard to tell but this is a very soft, neutral cozy

cover with the light crocheting on the top.

It's intended to be a curtain valance but works great

on the stove.

Bee- cause

Thanks for bee-ing with me on this monday morning!

Here's a quick cute little card for you to try.

Cut your cardstock to a regular size card, now cut two pieces

of white cardstock at 2 1/4" x 4 1/2" making sure to tear the ends

of both pieces of yellow and white cardstock. 

Adhere them together and attach them to the card after you add

the honeycomb overlay which can be printed cardstock or stamped.

Stamp your bee directly onto the card, add some glitter to the wings

and color in the bee. 

Add your greeting and there you have the cutest little card

ready to gift away! 

Mother's day idea

It's Mother's day weekend and here's a sweet little idea

for you to bless those mama's or friends who are mama's in your life.

Pick up a little potted plant and grab some lunch sacks.

I found these white ones at Target. 

Start by rolling down the bag from the top til you have a good 

6" of the bag left. 

It will look like this..... 

Grab your plant and set it inside the bag, take some

ribbon and tie it around the bag to create a bow. 

Just like this.....   

I packaged up a bunch of flowers to gift.

So sweet!

Most Adorned flip card

Happy wednesday!

Spring has sprung!

This designer series paper has a linen vibe to it as well 

as a subtle spring feel. 

You can see the flip tab I added to the inside of the card beforeoNC

I attached the bubble gum pink cardstock. 

Ounce you add the tab flip it over to the front of the card and

stamp your greeting. 

Mediterean Blooms

Pulling out some of the Mediterean Blooms designer paper.

Leaning into making more of the patchwork quilt cards using up

all the scrap pieces. 

I used the stamp set "filled with happiness to create the center

image.   So cute and super fresh looking for spring/summer.

I can't stp[ making these quilt cards!

I loving using up my scraps over here.  

Flourish Gathering

What a great day celebrating our last get together for the year with our amazing

Flourish group. 

We met up at Evergreen church to hear our last message from our mentor/leader

Marjie Schaefer. 

Our groups gathered at tables that we decorated for spring and shared a light lunch.

Always bittersweet parting for the summer months ahead.

What a great group of ladies! 

Our theme was lemons so everything was lemons,

 we had chicken lemon salad, lemon bars, strawberry lemonade,

lemon scones, salads and lots of laugher! 

Lakeside Retreat

April's a beaut with the new paper pumpkin called 

"lakeside retreat"

Here's card number one from the kit.

I always like to change my cards up a bit from 

the kit by just tweaking them slightly.

I barely changed this one up by adding the greeting to the top

of the card instead of the bottom, then added some

glitter to the rainbow trout.  

This was a great father's day kit, the background paper

is gorgeous!

Beautiful scenery card take 2

Morning!

Back with some sample ideas on the scenery card.

A few of you asked what this looked like.

You can see I chose scenery paper, then below cut 1/2" strips.

Layer up you card, then using dimensional dots add your 1/2" pieces to the card.

I didn't line up mine very well with this one! but you get it!

I suppose this shows you it doesn't have to be perfect to look decent!

This is a fun technique to try.  I saw this demonstrated, you choose

a designer series paper that has a scenery.  Cut two pieces the exact size,

I cut mine 4 x 5 1/4".  Set one aside. 

Take your other piece and start cutting it into 1/2" sizes till you are done.

Now it's time to layer and adhere the pieces to the card. 

In doing so, you will leave a space between adhering each "slat".

You may have a few pieces left over. Just discard them. 

This is the end result.  It gives you a 3D effect. 

Pretty cool huh?

Just add your greeting and there you go, doesn't need much more to pop! 

Perfectly Peared

Using up the rest of the perfectly designer paper, 

This is the last of it!

They turned out so pretty! 

These card are very easy, just cut the designer paper

and fussy cut a few pairs and add them with dimensionals

to make them pop.
