Honeycomb folder

I decided to use up some of my left over pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kit from January.   The flowers you see on the card are from the kit.  I just cut them up and added the butterfly and stamped image.  To achieve the look on the honeycomb background you just rub your craft white ink pad over the honeycomb and there you have it.

Hardwood

It's back on  my studio table again, the Hardwood stamp. I think I'm drawn to it as I just had all my hardwood floors redone and keep smiling as I walk through the house enjoying the new look to my floors.  I opted for a distressed flooring, and compared to the dark, very old and damaged floor they are  just sooooo  pretty!

Somebody made Pointe in their Ballet class this week!  

We couldn't be more proud of all of Shae's hard work and determination.  I took this moment to teach her how to sew her ribbons on her pointe shoes.  She has sewn many times on a sewing machine, but not much hand sewing,  There was a little blood and 

a lot of patience!  Those shoes are hard to get a needle through!

Lovely LIttle Wreath Kit

                        

Well, I squealed with delight as I opened this month's Paper Pumpkin.  It is this absolutely adorable wreath!  I posted the video above for you to view to show you how to easily assemble it.  I being the creative that I am decided to simplify my wreath so that I can have it go with any decor or season.  

I added some of our white Stampin up! ribbon and twinning to hang it from and then did my hand lettering on the chalkboard tag.

1,000 steps

Yesterday we spent some much needed time in the mountains scaling the 1,000 steps challenge. 

 What is this you say? 

It is 1,000 steps project where you scale 379 concrete stairs that cover 197 vertical feet of elevation change, equivalent to a 19 story building! 

 It's a rewarding active experience, but HARD!  I had to stop a few times on the way back up.  The scenery is absolutely stunning and once to the bottom you reach the Cle Elum river.
