Let it snow!

And....... this JUST happened!
1,000,000!  milestone!
So humbled and filled with joy that you all have supported and motivated me to continue to post creativity to inspire YOU!
It's fun to be able to share with you my passion for creativity.
Looking forward to many more milestones shared with ya'll!
Thank you!

Good Morning all!
Was looking for a way to spruce up these trees and terra cotta pots.
Enter canned spray snow!  remember that stuff?

Easy to use and dries quickly.  Lightly spray your trees, garland or anything you might want to dust with snow!
I also started with plain terra cotta pots that I dry brushed with white craft acrylic paint, it also dries quickly.

The result!  Love it!

DIY Wreath

Sharing with you today another wreath idea.
I had two of these wreaths that I had purchased at Target clearanced for $2.30!,  three year ago.
They had been just sitting in with all the Christmas decor.
This year I decided use them and come up with plan for them.

I was at Target this weekend and in their dollar spot they had these
cute wood signs. I believe there were three different styles.
I just loved this one!
Even though they were in the dollar spot, they were $3.
You can use an existing wreath or pick one up at Target or TJ Maxx for fairly low prices.  Take the wood framed art and tuck it right inside the round part of the wreath.
For mine I didn't need to hot glue the frame in at all.
They fit just nicely right inside of the wreath.

Reindeer Pallet

Good morning!
This past week between getting ready for Thanksgiving and pulling out decor for Christmas, my creative side won over and I created this deer pallet.

I started by using some left over wainscotting we had in our shop.
I added two slats on the back for weight as well as for hanging.
I painted the whole board with white acrylic paint from Aaron Brother's.
Did you know that Dollar Tree has paint brushes?
I always get mine there to use for dry brushing.
Once your white paint is dry, using your brush and a brown paint color lighty dry brush over the whole pallet piece to give it that distressed look.
(I used Raw Umber paint, you can find it at Aaron Brother's too)

I found the deer plaque at TJ Maxx for a mere $12.99
and the wreath I have had for years.

I just used two nails to hang the wreath and deer to the plaque.
Head on over to my Instagram story to see a video on how I made it if you'd like a visual.

Pick up a few towels from my shop for gifts for friends and family.
There are 9 different styles to choose from !!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!
loving this quote I read last night
"Our lives are filled with meeting wonderful people. Make sure those that have become a part of your life hear your words of love and appreciation.
Feeling all the feels today as we sit down together as a family, grateful for the moments together.
Each day is a gift we get to open, find yourself being thankful for each day and it's new beginnings and blessings.

Sharing a few pics of my Thanksgiving table.
Fairly simple, picked up some greens at the local grocer and scattered them across the center of the table with some stemless wine glasses with floating candles and the little white velvet pumpkins are from the Target dollar spot.

Sending you all Thanksgiving wishes!

Paper Pumpkin November 2017

The new November Paper Pumpkin has arrived and it is just darling!   Check out the video above to see how to put your kit together, or just to simply look at what your missing out on!

As usual, being the creative I am, I find it really hard for me to follow the exact instructions to put the projects together as shown.
Love to alter the projects and give you other ideas and uses.

I decided to use some of this cute pom pom ribbon I had in my stash.  I used a hot glue gun to attach it to the stockings.  I used the Merry and Bright stamp from the Paper Pumpkin kit and punched out some tags that I attached with some vintage safety pins.

Loving the Buffalo Plaid with the muslin and pom poms.
Fill them up with some candy and a gift card and there you have it.
Still not signed up?  Come join the fun!
The subscriptions are $20 a month or you can choose how many month's you like.  Makes a great gift for Christmas too!!

Christmas Ornaments

How about some easy diy christmas ornaments to try?
These cute scenery stamps are from a stamp set called Happy Scenes.  Now, if you don't have this retired beauty you can easily use any other stamp you have in your collection.

This is how is starts off.  You need to purchase plastic ornaments that snap together.   I found mine at Michael's in with all the clear glass ornaments.  They run around .89 cents each for one which will make two.  The size I purchased required me to punch out a 2" circle of white cardstock.  Stamp your image on the circle and add color according to your design.
Use a scallop punch or scallop framelit to cut the outer circle for the ornament.

Once your design is colored in adhere the white cardstock to the scalloped cardstock.  Now add just a little bit of snowflakes inside of the half ornament.   Adding some glue to the outer part of the ornament carefully add the backing to the the ornament and let dry.
Add some ribbon or baker's twine to the top to hang.

How sweet are these!

Coffee Cafe

Well, here's your friday funny!
I just couldn't resist!  the new Coffee Cafe set has the dollop of whipping cream for the top of your stamped coffee drink. Well, when I saw it, it reminded me of the poop emoji!!!
Out of that came this card!
I sure wish I had the stamp from our catalog that says
"well, this stinks" that would have been perfect!
Hope I made you laugh!!!!

The Great Junk Hunt

This event was sure to get my holiday spirit off to a great start!
This Great Junk Hunk travels around, it happened to be in Monroe at the fairgrounds last weekend.
It's a two day event where junkers come together to buy and sell all things vintage, upcycled and unique.

There were soooo many vendors and booths.

So many things to see, buy and glean ideas from.

Thanksgiving

Creating a few Thanksgiving boxes to gift.  I used a few fry boxes I had laying around and used all the left over pieces from this months Paper Pumpkin including the stamps to stamp leaves all over the box and then put together the leaves for the front.
The contents in the fry box is the little wood disk stamped and a cello bag with a trio of salted caramels and a 3 x 3" card.
(you can find the dark chocolate caramels at Costco in a HUGE tub for 9.99 by Sanders.  And oh man are they delish!)

A friend gave me quite a nice size bag of these pretty wood pieces. Using the stamp "give thanks" from the stamp set Suite Seasons I stamped in Early Espresso right onto the wood piece.
It sure looks like I wood burned it doesn't it!

The little acorns were the ones I posted a while back that I had found around town.   I just heated them in the oven to dry them out and if the little hats had fallen off, I just hot glued them back on.

They just make me smile!

These are all the little leaves and pieces left from Paper Pumpkin

Add some Thanksgiving decor to your home or take one of these tea towels to someone special.  A new line of holiday tea towels are available in my 2340 West Newton shop now!
