Holy Bats!

Reese's has these new Bat candies, or at least I think they are new!
Once I saw them I had to bring them home and make something for Halloween with them.

See the Bat on the front?

The black and white paper was cut at 4 x 2" and folded over.
The cello bag is a 4 x 3"
The stamp is from the Spooky Cat set, I used the 3rd size oval Framelits to cut it out.    The bat is a stampin up retired bat punch.

Cat Punch

Here's a quick, easy card for you to try for Halloween

Cut  out a 2" yellow circle, using the cat punch, punch the cat out towards the botton of the circle (moon)
Layer the three colors of cardstock.
I used Bermuda Bay, white and black.   Use stampin dimensional to adhere the moon to the card and add orange baker's twine.

Christmas Cookie Straws

I've been getting things ready for a charity event I participate in every year.   These are the cookie straws I came up with.

These cookie straws can be purchased in this tin at Costco, you get 25 in the tin.   If you don't have a Costco, the cookies are also sold at any Starbuck's coffee shop for a dollar each.

To make the holders cut yourself a piece of red cardstock measured at 4 3/4" x 2", use a 1" circle punch at each end to create your opending to slide the cookie straw through.  I also used a corner rounder on the ends.
Stamp the cute lil' elf on white cardstock, I used the third sized oval framelit in the Oval Framelit set.

I used mini pom poms found at a local craft store and our Stampin Up! mini bells for his shoes.

Woodland Halloween

Muwaaaaahhhhhh!
A little spooky card for you today.
I used the technique I originally showed HERE
I used Basic Gray ink that I rollered on the embossing folder to create this background.
Using any bat punch, (mine is stampin up retired)
add the bats to the forest and stamp a phrase for the bottom of the card.

Go where you feel most alive!
So, off I went to the mountains this weekend.
Did some hiking down near Salmon La Sac at Red Mountain.
The snow had fallen on the tops of the mountains, it made for some beautiful fall photos.

Creative Class

Friday was a fun filled morning with a group of creatives.
Above are the items we made.

Everyone did a great job making their string art pumpkins

You could choose between a brown or white one

One of my creative friends Jackie decided on making us all crack up by adding these googlie eyes to her pumpkin!  hysterical!

I went acorn hunting and found so many that each of the ladies were able to hot glue all the little hats back on them.  A lot of time when you find the little acorns when they drop they loose their hats, so we glue them back on!
(also, I made sure and heat the acorns first!)

They made these little witches broom lollipops and bath bomb pumpkins wrapped in orange napkins and stamped with pumpkin faces.

We also altered pumpkins.  Some added ribbon, some leaves and ribbon and some acorns.

Here is one of the final string art pumpkins

Season to Sparkle

Oh this stamp set is probably one of my favs for the season.
It covers quite a few holidays.   Check out the set below.
I used the Hardwood stamp for the background for the card above.

I added some greenery I had to the top of the chandelier and the red ribbon.

Moving on to Halloween,  love how you can add any pieces to the
chandelier.  There are so many possibilities!
