Valentine Treat idea

How about a little Valentine treat idea?
I found these candies boxed together at HomeGoods.
Once you open the box the candies are wrapped separately.

Look at how cute all the candies look.
I thought it would be fun to wrap them separately to gift.

I had some of this sparkley ribbon and made the little tiny love
tags a punch I have, you can hand cut one if you don't have any punches.
To attach the tag I used a small gold safety pin.
What do you think?

Valentine treat holders

Happy tuesday!
Today I am sharing these cute treat holders I made up for my women's group.  The kit is actually from last year but is still available this year.
It's easy to put together and are super cute.

The stamp I have had on hand.
All the pieces you see come in the kit.

I used double sided tape to put the hearts together
and dimensionals to add the pop ups.

Fill them up with some treats and add a ribbon and there you have it!

Check out the link below to pick up the kit and remember,
for every $50 spent you get to choose free stamps or product.
Take advantage of Sale a Bration, it lasts until Feb 28th.

The kit can be purchased below;

Valentine Yarn Hearts

Happy friday!
Sharing this friday these yarn hearts that I have shared a few years ago.
Although when I shared them before I showed them in bright pink and red and white.  This time I decided to make them in neutral colors.

I was able to find the cotton skeins of yarn at the Dollar Tree if you can believe it!  They had so many colors and the yarn is very soft.

If you like to try and make them the original link is below...

Valentine felt pillow

When it's cold outside and wintery it's time to find something to do.
I thought I would try making a little felted pillow with some felt I had on hand.
I cut a red felt heart out by drawing with pencil a heart onto the felt and cutting it out.  I also had drew "love" in white felt and cut it out.

I started by using pink embroidery thread and sewing a straight stitch around the love til it was all sewed onto the red heart.

I decded to cut out a few small pink hearts to add and also
a few sequins on top of the hearts.

All sewed and ready to fill with stuffing.
After you fill it up start to sew it all together.
Now either gift it away or decorate with it!

So sweet and something you can do while watching a show or just relaxing.  I was able to make this in under 2 hours.

Boho candle

Happy friday!
I am always on the look out for new trending
wedding ideas for the decor.
This one can be used as home decor or for luncheons or
weddings or..... you get the idea!
You start with purchasing some of the glass cylinder
vases at the Dollar Tree and some 16mm wood beads.
I had some baby's breath dried on hand, you could use fresh or any dried flower or greens.
You will also need some glue,  I show you in this picture
E6000 glue but once I got going I switched over to a hot
glue gun.  It dried must faster and was easier to work with.

Just start by gluing each bead around the base of the vase.

Keep going.....

Once you finish now add just a few small beads (10mm)
around the vase on top of the 16mm ones.

You can see how I just added about 6 total around the vase.

Once done, add just a bit of hot glue to the ends of the
baby's breath and tuck it into the small bead.
Fill each little bead all the way around.
The dried flowers lay nicely right up against
the glass vase.  So pretty!
Now add a battery operated candle and there you have it!!

What do you think?

Dutch Babies

Good morning!

We've had my husband's family visiting all well which calls for lots of food on the table over here.  Big itlalian family that LOVE thier food!
And I mean every meal!
Since I've felt like I've been feeding an army I choose to surprise them with some dutch babies.
Have you ever made them?
They are so good and can be made savory or sweet.
I chose savoryto make for my guests.
I made THREE and they were gone, I included in mine;
breakfast sausage, spinach, onions, garlic salt.
The link to the recipe is below.
Just know if you decide to make a sweet one you will
just make it minus all the savory flavors to the recipe.
For the sweet alternative, add blueberries on top or raspberries
or any fruit you prefer.  Also top with devonshire, whip cream, cinnamon or syrup.  Even the savory is delish with a bit of syrup drizzled on it.
Enjoy!

Gold Creek Trail

It's been a busy few days so far with our extended family visiting from the east coast.
We thought we'd take them to to the mountains for a little snow and snowshoeing.

It turned out to be such a gorgeous day outting.
Hardly anyone was out at all which made for a very peaceful,
serene time.
This is Gold Creek Trail east of 190.  It is a great snowshoe
area with beautiful scenery.

It was so magical.

All smiles on the trails,
we will have family here til tuesday.
Time to find some more activities to keep them busy!
