Kind Koala

Sweet little lollipop card made with our cute new stamp Kind Koala.  Fellow demonstrator Jackie Topa came up with this darling idea of putting a lollipop in the cute koala's hands.   I found these tie dye lollipops at the dollar tree.  15 for $1 !!!!!
To create the tie dye effect in the background I used the new   Work of Art stamp set.  It naturally has a watercolor look to it and is so easy to create your backgrounds using this set.

Now to make this cute little Koala hold this lollipop you will stamp the image right onto your card over the water colored area.  Then re stamp him again  on a separate piece of paper and cute just his body out then attach the body with a stampin dimensional to the original one you stamped.  Make sure the lollipop is secured to the card with a stampin dimensional.
Products Used:
Stamp Sets-  Work of Art and Kind Koala
Ink colors-  Pink Pirouette, Tempting Torquoise, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black
Cardstock- Tempting Torquoise, Pink Pirouette, whisper white

Regarding Dahlias

I have been so moved by the colors in  my garden this week and the thought of summer around the corner!  Can't wait for the lazy days...
Since I cut so many peonies out of my garden this week I thought it called for a peony inspired card.  I know this is a dahlia but, what the heck!  Let's pretend!
The fence is made out of the Hardwood stamp, stamped once on a sheet of paper then cut at the top to look like a fence.  I stamped the stamp once again and cut one plank out to run across the top of the fence. The Dahlia flower was stamped three separate times.  Once cut out as a full flower, then at the 3/4 size, then just the small center.  I used the Aqua water brush to color the flower in.
Products Used:
Stamps Hardwood, Regarding Dahlia
Cardstock- Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzaz
Ink Colors-  Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzaz, Melon Mambo
Accessories- Candy Dots neutral colors

Peonies

Had a lovely weekend spending time with my camera. I truly love taking pictures but tend to not spend as much time on this hobby as I would like to.  I cut a bunch of Peonies from my yard and decided to use them as my subjects..... plus a chair or two!
