Burlap Ribbon Rosettes with Polka dots!

Today I am going to introduce to you our new!  Burlap Ribbon!
Besides adorning packages and decorating cards with it.  Why not jazz it up a bit and decorate those mini muslin bags!
Here up close you can see each bag that I used the burlap on:

Here's a white polka dotted one I made

This one is  plain burlap
Not only did I decorate with them,  I made rosettes and polka dotted them.
I have a video at the top of my main page under videos showing you how to make the rosette.

Of course I had to make a Halloween one.  This one is also polka dotted in black.
See below on how to polka dot your ribbon

These are the spools of Burlap Ribbon, you get 5 yards of 1 1/4" for $7.95.   You will need 10 inches for each rosette.  Starting with your sponge dauber and some black or white craft paint. Take and lightly dip the dauber into the paint and apply directly to the ribbon.  You may need to reapply paint to the same dot twice.
Below is how it looks as your working on it.  I just put the two together for you to see the difference in the colors.  Once dried you will use our adhesive circles to create your rosette.  Again, the video on how to make the rosette is on my main page under videos.

Products you will need to get started:
Accessories:  Burlap Ribbon # 132140 for $7.95, Muslin Bags #132180 (8) for $9.95, Vintage Fauceted Buttons, Basic Pearls
Acrylic black or white paint

Halloween green potion

Good Morning all!  How about green poison looking drinks for Halloween?
Start with green apple flavored Jones sodas. I used Witches Brew designer paper to cover the carrier and the bottles.  You can add even more to them if you like,  just remember they have to fit back into the carrier.  I added a glittered black spider to the front of the carrier, a tag and a ribbon on  the carrier.

There is enough different designs in the Witches Brew paper for each bottle to have their own look.  Doesn't it look like they came this way!   Too fun!

Products Used:
Paper- Designer series Witches Brew #132185
Accessories: Black Chevon Ribbon, Black Glitter, plastic spider
Stamp Set- Halloween Bash #130580

Halloween Candle

How about a Halloween candle to make?  I purchased one of those 12" high skinny candles from the Dollar Tree and covered it with our Witches Brew designer paper #132185
I took one of those plastic black spiders I had laying around and added some of our orange stampin glitter # 132206.

Are you into Meatless Monday's?
Then you have got to try this amazing casserole!

I tried this dish recently at True Foods in Arizona and fell in LOVE with it!   It's Spaghetti squash casserole.  I tell you,  it tastes just like a pasta dish.  So yummy and easy to make!!!!

Here it is all done.

The spaghetti squash looks like regular pasta

This is where you put the tomatoe mixture on the squash.

Here's where you add the jar of pasta sauce.  (use your fav brand)

Fall Birch Candles

Looking for a fall craft to whip up this weekend? Here's a quick and easy one for you.  Fall Birch Candles!
I used some glass jars I had around the house and wrapped them with our new Birch paper that is in the new Thankful Tablescape kit  (see below)

I used the linen thread to wrap around the paper, then added the Autumn Accent Leaves for the Big Shot.  I put the leaves in our embossing folders, both the Woodgrain and the Square Lattice to give it texture.  Just glue gun them right on the jar.

Here they are up close so you can see the textures.

Attach your birch paper with Tombow multi purpose glue

Here is the Thankful tablescape and some other uses for it.  It has soooo much in the kit.
It also comes the the NEW! white stampin chalk marker that I have shown in past posts.
This kit can be used for Fall or Thanksgiving creations....
