Hey, Chick!

Hey there chickie!
I put these stacks of cards together for my gals in my women's group so that they could use them for lists, prayer cards of whatever they like!
This new stamp set called Hey Chick can be yours for FREE! Yep!  if you place an order of $50.00 or more right now during our Sale a Bration promotion you can choose a stamp set or product from the sale a bration catalog.

I used a handful of the Project Life journaling cards and stamped the hey, chick! on the front of them.  I used white embossing powder and embossed the chicks on black cardstock and attached them with a glue gun to some clothespins I had and clipped them to the paper.  It's that easy chicks!

This Tina Turner chick is probably my fav!

Mini Candy

These are pretty darn cute just like this!
But you can turn them into this for Valentine treats.
These are the mini Ghirardelli dark chocolates.
I've just covered them with blue or white cardstock and stamped the images on them.

When they're all done they will look this cute in a sweet bowl.

Adventure Awaits Class

Sharing with you my Adventure Awaits class from friday.
I found these adorable leather purses at Target.   All of $1.90!
I put a salted dark chocolate caramel in a bag in the purse, and if you know me, you know that my purse always has a piece of chocolate or two inside.
I posted on new year's about how I look for three new things to try a year.  This is the reason I choose this theme for my class.  To help others look at the possibility of trying three new things a year to challenge themselves.   It can be something quite simple or something that will challenge you.  What adventure awaits you?

Since the purses were so small I thought it would be fun to make a tag and add it to the side of the purse.  I did this by using black shrinky dink plastic.  You stamp on it in white stazon ink and then put in the oven at 325 degrees for 1 to 3 mins.

Above are the items we made

We made these camper curvy keepsake boxes filled with candy.

Here are the three cards we made. I just love this adorable camper!

The last project was this tote handbag filled with Adventure Awaits
3 x 3" cards and a heart pencil

We all need love.  This card is a quick and easy one for you to try.  I used white cardstock, backed with the brushed gold paper.  You can use any heart and add the speckles from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  Top it off with the gold cording.

Love you

Valentine's day is fast approaching.
Time to get my card made for my Hubs.
I stamped the butterflies right onto the designer paper in black ink.  The "love you" has been embossed with gold details powder.

Butterfly Basics

Adult coloring books are all the rage right now and why not add the trend to your stampin?   Just take a blank piece of white cardstock and some black ink and a line art stamp set of your choice.  Start stamping the images randomly all over the front of the cards.  I used a Aqua painter to add just a touch of color to the flowers and the bumble bee.  The other card is how it looks before you color it.

I used the Happy framelit and adhered it to the front of the card.

Take a look at your stamps sets and give this a whirl.
The more of a line art design the better.  Then just fill it in with a little bit of color.   Have fun!

Hygge

Now I've got your attention!
Hygge, pronounced "hoo-ga," is the Danish term for living simply.  from what I've seen all over television shows and Pinterest it means including lots of cozy spaces that look lived in.

I've been slowly trying Hygge in my own home, starting with the bathroom off the kitchen.  It used to be mustard, black and red.
Such a calming change!

I even tried shiplap on the wall (insert Hubs help!)
Jo Jo would be so proud!

Here's my latest hand soap love.  It's by Garrison Home and can be found at TJ Maxx, Marshall's or online.  So many scents to choose from.  This one is Sweet Orange.  I also have tried the Pumpkin Pie and Lemon Grapefruit.   A must try!

Valentine candy box

Adding to the valentine bear cards is a candy treat box made by using adhesive to hold the two boxes together.
I filled the two boxes with Ghiridelli chocolates.
It took 6 squares per box.   I used adhesive tape to attach the two boxes together, then added a 2" belly band and some ribbon.
