Happy Camper

I'm a happy camper!
It's been a fun filled summer so far with lots of adventure
and fun exploring....
This little card was inspired by our travels and adventures so far.

My heart is full and happy~
I love the simple look of this little camper
just hanging out somewhere in the unknown waiting for
new adventures and exploration.

How has your summer been?
Full of adventure? exploring?
I hope besides work you are getting out even if it's for a walk
taking in all the sunshine of summer and the long days
for fall is quickly approaching.....

Summer cards

Just a sweet summer card design from the Paper pumpkin
kit.
As always I have altered the card just slightly.

I love the font on this sentiment as well as the neutral colors.
Add a shell and a few little sequins and you've got a great
summer card to send off to someone you love!

Christmas in July

Let's get this holiday started!
Christmas in July is everywhere so I thought it would be fun to
share a holiday card ideas with you.

I love the look of this background paper,  the herringbone
on this card.  There is a lot of organic natures elements to this
card.

To add a little pizzazz and glitter is up I added the fine dazzling diamonds glitter to the tree as well as a cute little gold star on top.

Have you started your plans to create your Christmas cards

DIY Dorm room mirror

Bringing you yet another fun and easy way to dress up your dorm or bedroom with this diy flower mirror.   Be sure to watch the video above to follow along and see how easy it is to put one of these together.

Here is the mirror all done.
These would look so cute in your daughter's room or turning your door from drab to fab!

To get started purchase one of those inexpensive wall mirrors.
I find mind at Target for $4.99
Next go to the Dollar Tree and buy at lease six bunches of flowers.
I chose the neutral colors so that it can go with any decor.

Next up,  remove all the flowers from the stems and arrange
around the mirror to see how many you will need.

Before you glue the flowers down be sure and cut away the little nib on the back of the flower from where you removed it from the stem.  This will make gluing them down much easier.

Now using a glue gun glue each flower right onto the frame of the mirror.  I could only find a black mirror and once I was done you couldn't see the black at all.

This process goes quite quickly.
That's all it takes to turn your mirror into a fun happy mirror!
I hope I have inspired you to give this a try!

Bride to be

She's one sweet girl in our life and we got to shower her
with love and prayers and gifts this weekend!
Danielle has been a part of our family since she
was in 3rd grade and has been friends with my eldest
daughter since.

Brittany, Danielle and Shelby all smiles.....

Getting ready for lots of picture taking

Danielle and myself

I've shared many times the large paper flowers and
how to make them.   Here is how I used them for
the shower.  I just tucked them into the greens, even
with a little bit of wind they didn't move.

I always use the chalkboards in my events to add
a special touch to the space, whether it's the wedding
date or a special saying.

The hula hoop diy I showed last month that I used for my daughter's graduation party I also used for the shower.
I used little scripture cards to surround their photo.

Such a beautiful day celebrating Danielle.
It was a full weekend, I was off to two more bridal showers celebrating new bride's to be-  aaaahhh...... young love!

Hello friends!
Hope you had a wonderful 4th, those of you stateside.
I have a few of these beauties available in the shop right now
They run a bit smaller than all my others tea towels (20 x 20)
which is your standard sized kitchen towel.
I made them up for an event earlier this year and have about
10 left that are yours if you wish!

I am not going to post them to my Etsy shop since there are
so few, so message me if you'd like to get your hands on one.

Rooted in Nature

Just a little nature card for you today.
Feeling a little "rooted in nature" these days and this
card is made with the stamps in the set called
Rooted in Nature.

These days I am super drawn to neutral organic colors.
I used gray granite ink and mossy meadow to create the
colors scheme. The center piece of green is a pistachio pudding green cardstock

I stamped separately the leaves then cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals.
There is a lot of layering here but in a good easy way.

Below is the beautiful
Rooted in Nature set
