Woodgain Bird Card

Today's card is made with the wonderfully large
Woodgrain background stamp.  It accompanies the
bird punch perfect!  The colors are as follows:
chocolate chip, pretty in pink, and kraft.  I stamped
with chocolate chip ink pad onto the kraft cardstock
then used the sponge dauber to add some ink to the sides.
The new large bird punch has the bird, his wings and the
sprigs of leaves all in one punch!  You must have this
punch!  The flowers are again the stitched Sweet
Pea felt embellishments.   The salutation stamp
is from the Occassions mini catalog, the set is called
Well Scripted.   All items you can find in the SU! catalog.
Have a great weekend!  xoxo

Butterfly Scrapbook/Booklet

It's friday! It's friday!  I love fridays,  no special reason but
they just feel like a special day to me.  Here is a quick
cute little booklet/scrapbook you can make or use for
your stamp camps or classes.  it requires 5 pieces of
cardstock cut at 3 x 4 1/4.  I have cut 2 pieces pumpkin pie,
2 so safrron and 1 pretty in pink to match the cover designer
paper.  Put all the pieces of cardstock together and punch
to holes with the cropadile, it will cut through all those pieces
nicely for you.  If you don't know what it is or have one email
me and I will tell you what they are.  Anywho, after you punch
the holes add the large brads.  If you do not have the brads you
can add buttons or smaller brads too.   Now choose your stamp
set,  I used the Great Friend stamp set.   I chose the Sweet Pea
designer paper to go with the stamp set.  I also added chocolate
chip ribbon to the large brad and then the glitter to the butterfly
that I popped up on the front of the booklet.  Everything used
on the booklet can be ordered from the SU! catalog.
When you are all done either add photos or little words of
inspirations to a friend.  Have a great weekend!  xoxo

My heart goes out to you and your boys Shannon, may God
comfort and protect you and your boys.   We Love You!
Today's card is Happy Moments in honor of you!
The cardstock is Kraft, white, Sweet Pea and Certainly
Celery.  I stamped the Happy Moments flower in the

a white flower button.  xoxo

Magnetic Notepad

Today's post is a refrigerator magnet notepad!
I started with the pad, it measures 7 1/4 by 3 inches
then scored at the top  at 6 inches and folded over
the pad and adhered with adhesive.  I then cut a
1/4' piece of white cardstock and attached it to
the folded over piece.  Used the scallop punch
to cute a 3' piece of preety in pink cardstock to
make the lace.  I then took the cropadile to punch
two holes in the top to add the Old Olive ribbon.
The flowers and leaves are the Sweet Pea stitched
ebellishements.  Looking for any of these items?
Click on the catalog link to the right to order from the

I am loving these easel cards and if you haven't
tried one you need to!  They are quick and
easy and looks like you made a really
incrediable card!  This card is made with the
garden green cardstock.  The white cardstock
I ran through the Big Shot machine with the

Eggstra Special Easter Box

How cute are these!  I took the SU! Big Shot Die
Bitty Box and punched it out and put it together.  I then
cut a piece of 2 x 4 cardstock to attached to the back of
the box for the back piece that the bunny and chick are
attached to.  Before putting the box together I punched
a 1 3/8 circle punch to the center of the box for the
egg to fit into.  Then cut a piece of 2 x 1 certainly celery
cardstock for the grass.  The bunny and chick are made
with the 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches and small oval

Sweet Pea Easel Card

Good Morning Ladies!  I love these Easel cards!
They are very simple to make and fold easily flat
so that they fit in the envelope to mail.  Love it!
The card is made with the Sweet Pea designer
paper.  Gotta use it up there is alot of it!  and
the Tangerine Tango cardstock,  the sweet pea
stitched felt embellishments and Whimsical
Words stamp set.  The courdoroy button
was pumpkin pie so I took my dauber and
inked it up with the Tangerine Tango so
that it matched.  I found the instructions at
SCS here.  xoxo

12 x 12 Purse Box

I found the instructions for this purse here and knew I wanted to

tricky.  I have used the Sweet Pea polka dotted paper
and the soft suede ink and flowers from the pretties
kit as well as courdoroy buttons and twine.   xoxo

Treat Box

Today's post is a cute litte Treat Box I found here.
I went ahead and used the large new paper pack we
sell called Sweet Pea and then also used the stitched Sweet
Pea felt embellishements on the sides.  Two of the sides I
did in the flowers and the other two with the Whimsical
Words set from Sale a Bration.  The center is held together
with a ring binder and as you can see in the photos below.
I fillled the new small glassine bags with Olive and Orange
M & M's to match! and folded them over and adhered

Another Butterfly card and great idea!

I wanted to use our Hodgepodge hardware on my card
today but realized we only carry it in ivory. Not going
to stop me!  I got out my spray paint and painted it
white, then moved on to doing some in olive and black
too!  Soooo easy and I love it!  So the card below
has the white one on it. Get out your spray paint gals!

Today's card was inspired by yesterday's card!  The
sun is shining like crazy here you'd think it was spring!
So I am in the bright color mode.  The sketch I found
online and went with it.  The colors used are Night of
Navy, Green Galore, Summer Sun.  The grass stamp
is from the Inspired by Nature and the butterfly is the
SU! Die.  xoxo

Valentine's Day Centerpiece ideas

Here are some quick and easy Valentine centerpieces I
put together.   The first one is made with a wrought tray I had laying
around the kitchen.  I took a large glass hurricane vase and filled
it with converstation hearts and a flameless candle.  I placed it in the
center of the wrought iron tray and then placed primroses all around it.
Very easy!  And the centerpiece is very large!  So pretty!
The one above is another black wrought iron basket that I lined
with a black polka dotted napkin and filled it with red primroses
and then stuck the vintage Valentine wall sign out the back.  xoxo

Mojo Monday 125

Mojo Monday sketch 125. Here is my take on the
sketch today.  It is hard to see but the overlay is
the Clearly Thanks Printed Window Sheets.  They
are so easy to use and beautiful!  I have used the
Night of Navy cardstock and Summer Sun as well
as the summer sun courdoy buttons.
Still working on my blog too!  Trying to get my title
inside the box at the top!  Anyone out there able to
give me some pointers!?  xoxo

Decor' Stencils Folk Flowers

I chose the Decor' Stencils for today's post.  They are beautiful and very easy to use.  You can view them in our Occasions Mini catalog to the right of my blog on page 18.  I have used the Folk Flowers to create this
image, the technique is called Emboss resist.  By doing this with the stencils you will use your versa mark
pad and a dauber and daub the versa mark in right over the stencil onto the cardstock, you then dust is with clear emboss powder and heat with a heating tool.  I have used Natural cardstock and used another dauber to rub the Soft Suede ink on the image to create the soft effect.  Then just stamp various stamp images across the paper.  I have used the new Vintage Labels set and Charming set. Let me know if you have any questions about embossing resist.   xoxo

Hershey Bar Valentine

Here is one of those very LARGE Hershey candy
bars that I have covered with pretty in pink cards stock and used the new roller wheel called I {love} Love in chocolate (of course) and then added the real red ribbon.  The heart in the middle is a playing card if you can believe it!  I mounted it atop the chocolate chip cardstock and then stamped one of
our hearts from the I {heart} Hearts set.  Fun and easy!  xoxo
