Two Creatives

The other night I was whisked away from family for a fun birthday treat by my sweet friend Lisa.   It was two creatives out on the town for a new experience of clay creations.  We went to the Northwest Art Center to make these clay plaques.  I haven't dabbled in clay for years,  so it was fun to get my hands dirty and create.

Both of Lisa's pieces- once they are fired where there is no paint it will be white.  Love her colors, the top one is blue and white and the bottom red and white.   

My top one is all white with light brown shading and bottom is light blue, red and white

I cannot wait to pick up the pieces to see them once fired and glazed.   It was such a fun time and I can't thank Lisa enough for such a thoughtful fun night!  

You know how I choose to do three new things a year as a New Year's resolution? (although I didn't pick it!)  Here's my second thing!!!  Now get out there and try something new!  I dare you!

Chalk Talk Easter Treat

These cute lil' bunnies are set atop of the Chalk Talk tag that I cut out with the Big Shot and framelit set.

They keep multiplying! maybe because they are bunnies!  but soon they will disappear!  whose doesn't love chocolates in the shape of a bunny!

The bunnies are new this year from Ghirardelli.  The outside 

packing is cute as can be and once you open them the chocolate bunnies are too!   adorable!

I stamped them on Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight cardstock. 

I was thinking of the cute "Peeps" candy when I was creating this.

Getting ready for Easter!  I made these sweet "chalkboard" chickie clothespins. I embossed in white on black paper and wrote names with our Stampin Write chalkboard pen.  I filled up our Polka Dot Glassine bags with Dove coconut chocolate eggs.

Going Global

Going Global today...... been away for a few days in the mountains again.  Trying to catch as many mountain days as I can get with the amount of snow fall there has been.   The only draw back is NO INTERNET!  uggghhh!   sooooo makes for a few days before I'm back in the saddle at home creating.  But here goes..... new Going Global set, Going Places stacked series paper and Typeset Specialty paper.  All used to create this out of this universe card!

World Traveler textured embossing folder- isn't is amazing! such detail.  Doesn't take much to make a card look amazing with ease!

I just punched out a small heart from the Circle Card framelits and added the stamped image from the Trust God stamp set.
