North Vancouver

We spent the day after Christmas up north in Vancouver walking around taking in all the lights of the season.
Every where you turned were lights.
So beautiful

We stayed in the Granville district, which has so much to do!
We made our way through all the details.
 Below is Granville street......

Gorgeous big massive lit up tree in downtown

The whole reason we went up to North Vancouver
was to drop these two off for travel
to China and Australia!

Prettiest gifts under the tree

Ready for a fun way to dress up your Christmas wrapping?
Check out the new Zulily facebook live video where I shop     you some really quick and easy ways to use things around the                                       house to dress up your packages.

Just in time for last minute wrapping
This is a sampling of what you can find in the video.

These packages are wrapped in kraft wrapping paper and
tied with jute string.  The greens are fresh rosemary from my garden.
You can use any fresh herbs or dried oranges or cinnamon too.

This cute little Rudolph wrap is fun to do with the kiddos.
Grab a sharpie and a red pom pom.
Let them draw on the eyes and antlers and use a glue dot to add the nose.

I love to up cycle and use what I have around the house
to add touches to my gifts.

Another fun way to personalize your packages is
to stamp the tags for your friends/family.

And that's a (wrap) dear friends!
Hope you enjoyed the video and are inspired to
add some touches to your pacakges!
Here we go!
Christmas is tomorrow!!

Wrap Master

Good morning friends!
I am being a wrap master around here yesterday and today, just as many of you are as well.
You know I love to share with you and I love to share how to make things easier and  little less expensive on your wallet.
Locally here in Woodinville our wonderful Hallmark store closed earlier this year.
Well, right next door has been a (you guessed it)
Dollar Tree!

I happen to walk in and find Hallmark wrapping paper!
I mean look at this cute paper!
Vintage Santa, fun and cute Santa! I squealed!

And...... it's Hallmark paper!
Which is the best and has THE
cutest designs all for yep,  a dollar!
Besides that, you get 40 sq ft!
Which is insane as most
rolls of wrapping are 25 sq ft at that lower price point.
So head on over to Dollar Tree to get some of this
wrapping paper for your upcoming wrap master party!
Thank me later......

It's super saturday out there friends, so take it easy.
Biggest shopping day of the holiday season.

I will leave you with this.....

Diy Ornaments

Hello friends!
Sharing today a super quick and easy diy for you to try.
You can easily do this with the kids too, think bright colors and shapes of confetti that you could use too.
I just used silver and gold to create these sparklers.

What you need to get are the glass ornaments and some confetti of your choice.  I picked up silver and gold at Michael's also purchased the glass ornaments there too.

All you need to do is take the top metal piece off the top of the ornament and using your fingers drop a few pinches of the confetti right into the ball.  Then put the top back on and roll the ball around til the confetti coats the inside.  You can add as much as you like.  On some of the ornaments I added both silver and gold to the same ornament.

When they are done you can tie ribbon or baker's twine to hand the ornaments with.
The results are so pretty!

Gnome Ornaments

Hangin with my gnomies at Zulily headquarters via video to show you how to make these adorable gnome ornaments.  Come watch and follow along on how to make these cuties!
Bonus; deer head ornament as well.
                                     Merry Christmas friends!

Aren't they just too cute!
Here's what you need;
Faux fur
Felt or any material for hats
flat wood rounds for heads (1 1/2")
mini wood rounds for noses
(you can also use buttons or clay shaped as a nose)
twine for hanging
bells, pom poms for top of hat
glue gun/scissors/pencil with eraser so you don't burn yourself
That's literally it!

You can make these larger too, you will just have to adjust
you hat and beard size.
To create a beard I just cut a 3" triangle, for the hat I also cut a triangle but rounded off the bottom which you can see in the video.
I hope you get a chance to make these and enjoy adding them to your Christmas trees, a bottle of wine or bubbly, a present or just to gift!
Have fun with this diy!
