Feb 2021 Paper Pumpkin Bouquet of Hope

The new February Paper Pumpkin is out
and it's called Bouquet of Hope.  Don't we all need a little hope
right now?   I would say so!  Take a peek at the video to see
what all is included in these kits.   I tend to make alternative cards
and ideas with the things in the kit.  It must be my creative side in me.
But, if you receive the kit and like to follow it verbatim be sure to follow the video above, it will give you step by step instructions on how to put it together.   Otherwise enjoy my simple alternative card
ideas below;

                                                          Here's what's in the kit....

Here's my alternative card,
I water colored in bouquet of flowers
with various colors of ink and stamped the "for your birthday"
and attached it to the front.

These are great cards for you to use for your stamp kits
or classes (if you are hosting them still!)

These pieces also came in the kit,
just added the yellow polka dot strip,
stamped the bouquet and colored it in.
Super easy alternatives for you to try.
If you don't have this set, you can always
use the idea with any other stamps you have
or colors.  My goal is for you to try and
make quick and easy cards!

with all of the memory cards you see below.

I used three different cards to create this card
and even cut away around the circle to tuck
one card into the other.
I added some brads to the compasses
and the baker's twine in black.
Stay tuned for more cards!
You WILL want to get this card suite!

More World of Good

Good Morning!
Coming at you again with another card from the
World of Good suite.
These pieces are all in the kit that you can view
World of Good HERE
I used the pieces from the Memories and more card pack.
It is chalked full of 4 x 6 and 3 x 3 cards as well as little sticker
embelishments.  It's a great way to get quite a bit of pieces to
make so many cards for such a low price- $11

I cut out the globe from a 4 x 6 card
and popped it up over the map paper.
Around the base of the globe I added some
gold/creme baker's twine.

The saying is one of the embellishment stickers.
Like I said there are so many pieces that if you just
ordered the memories kit you can make many cards
with what's in it.

Here's an up close picture of the twine.
I basically wrapped it around the base
and taped it before adhering it to
the card base.

Like this.......
I've made quite a few cards with this kit
so keep your eyes peeled for more!

Magnolia Suite

Happy Monday!
I know this beautiful designer paper is retired but I couldn't help but pull it out to use.  I mean come on' this paper is pretty!

I cut this card the standard size at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
for the inside floral piece I cut it at 4" x 5 1/4"
Once you do this you will cut the corner as you see
in the photo.  I backed the floral paper with a light
peach color and then using pop dimensionals attached
them to the card.
You can use any words to stamp in the center.
Also think about all the different type of cards you can make with this
idea.  Think about stripes, florals, polka dots. etc.
I cut out some extra flowers and popped them up
on the front of the card to give it an 3D look.
Give it a try!

Bee Mine

Happy Saturday!
You know I love to scour through both TJ Maxx
and Homegoods looking for fun finds.
I found these packs of honey almond soaps to
package up and gift to friends.

I started by separating the soaps, you
get 4 in a box.  I measured some crumb
cake cardstock at 1" x 6' and using a
corrugator created a little holder around
each soap so I could bag them.
Look at those cute little bees embossed in
the center of the little soap.
Just adorable!

I punched an oval shape and stamped the
bee in black and then colored in the body
with a mustard colored pen.
Slide it into a cello bag and tie off with some jute
and there you have it!!!
It's the bees knees!
If you can't find the bee soaps you could easily pickup
any other soaps and decorate them to gift for Valentine's
or Galentines Days!
Have Fun!!

Love is in the Air

Valentine's day is coming!
Spread a little love around with something different for
your friends or yourself for your home.
I have "Fall in Love" tea towels in the shop
ready to ship or for pickup if you're local
OR
What about a copper heart wood bead garland?
Both are fun to give and receive and can be scattered throughout
your home decor.
On shelves, around a vase, on a table, in a bowl, on top
of books.   The list goes on!

\
I have these cute "love" cups and bowls that
I like to scatter around and fill with red m & m's
How do you decorate for Valentine's day?

Valentine Pandas

Spreading a little love around with these cute
Party Pandas for Valentines day.
Don't have a panda stamp?
Look through what you have and use that!
You still can make a very similar card as the one
above, just find the right image to stamp
inside the punched out circles.

To create the three circles on the front of the card
use your circle framelits with the Big Shot.
Before cutting them out measure about where
you want to place the circles.
Find a piece of cardstock to place behind
the bears,  I used a wood grain type paper.

The are just adorable and are easy to make.
Valentine's day is a comin!

Diy Valentine Frame

Happy Sunday!
Another Dollar Tree find with these cute industrial wood frames.
I looked online for a free Valentine printable and loved
this one.
The frame measures 3 x 5" so just print out the size you need for your frame.

I stamped the word love on a very small
1/2" x 2" piece of paper, slide it into the hardware.
This has to be the easiest diy,
you can put any type of photo in this frame for
any holiday.

I have had a bunch of you reach out saying your Dollar Trees
don't carry some of the items I show you.
Here is what you can do,
go to Dollar Tree.com and order from there!
You can buy a lot of their items right online
and have them shippied to you or pick up at your
local Dollar Tree store.
How easy is that!!

More Yarn hearts

Happy friday!
I shared these yarn hearts with you just a few posts back
in a neutral palette. These are the colors that are in my living
with also a pop of navy.
I thought it would be fun to try some traditional colors for
Valentine's day.

They are so pretty!
I ended up adding little love tags with mini gold safety pins.

Right now the Dollar tree has an amazing collection
of colored yarn, hard to pick just on!

I hope you give these a try, they are super easy!
You can see how to make them Here
