Dollar Tree bunny cups

Happy sunday!
Head on over to Dollar Tree to grab some of these cutie cups and pink napkins.
You can also find candies there, but I just grabbed some from Target.

Start by unfolding your napkin to a square.
In the center lay some of the candies you have.
It doesn't require a lot.
Angle like a diamond shape and fold in half then keep folding up
till you get it to this point below.

Now fold it right in half to create the bunny head with ears,
adhere it by using a piece of ribbon to tie a bow.

Fold in half like this and tie a ribbon around it into a bow.

Add the cute little white pom pom for the bunny bum.

Add it to your cup and there you have it!
You can add these to your Easter table or just gift them to your family/friends, etc.

Here they all are in their glory!
The last card revealed from the Fluttering Garden kit.

I love the simplicity of this one.
Large but stately.

I also added glitter to the wings of this hummingbird too.

Which was your favorite?

Stampin Up! Fluttering Garden

Card two, day two of the fluttering garden paper pumpkin kit.
The colors in the kit are so vibrant.  I added a little bit of pumpkin pie
ink to the flowers in the background to tie the card together.

After I took all the photos I ended up adding glitter to the wings of
all the lil' hummingbirds.
There is one more card to this kit that I will post on sunday.
Stay tuned!

Easter money card

Happy saturday!
Here's some blasts from the past.
Do you remember the mason jar set and framelit?
I found it in my stash and decided it would make a cute
Easter money card.

As always I used what I had on hand, checked out my cardstock
and found this striped background paper and also the bunny from
a past paper pumpkin set.

I added the five dollar bill to the mason jar to send off
to a little someone.
Easter is a comin'!

Hey friend card

Happy saturday!
Here we are March 13th and we woke up to lots of snow!
And it snowed all day long......
So pretty, but this time of year, we are headed to spring.
Winter isn't quite over with us yet......

Being in the house all day gave me a chance to make some cards.
This one is fun and easy,  I ended up making 3 different designs, so I will
have to show you in the next few posts the others as well.

This designer series paper is a great design to use for this card,
I will show you some more too with different designer paper.
Start off by cutting a A2 size card, cutting away 1" off to the right side of the
opening of the card.
Punch out whatever color cardstock you chose and cut four 1 1/4" circles.
Now cut your designer paper to fit the front of your card and the right side of the outer
side of the card.

Adhere your circles to the outside of the card before you add
the designer paper over the top.
Add the top piece of the card and the 1" strip to the right.

Add a greeting to the left side of the front of card.

I added some glitter to the rose to fancy it up.

This is how it will look once you close up your card.
Simple addition big style.

Paper easter chickie

Happy thursday!
Here's a cutie little chickie for you to make for Easter gifting.
Fill is with any kind of treats.

I used different punches to creative the pieces needed to make the chickie.
Start with a A2 size envelope.  Take a look at the pieces below that I either
hand cut or punched out.

Two feet, one beak, two wings, the two cheeks and the top piece.

Assemble all the pieces together and add a greeting to the front,
fill up your chickie with treats.

So cute!!!!

St Patrick's day garland

Good day!
Let's have some St. Patrick's day fun!
Do you decorate for St. paddy's day?
Well get out your construction paper and kindergarten scissors for this one.

This is the chalkboard in my butler's pantry that I love to decorate the holidays
with.  Everything from chalkboard writing to added decor pieces.
This one MAY look like it would take long, but believe me it doesn't.

I bought a pack of green papers at Michaels, it comes with 5-6 different shades of
green and it a lighter weight of paper than using the stampin up weight paper.
The reason for this is the bendability of the paper, easier to manipulate for stapling and shaping.
Choose two green shades and cut your pieces at 1" x 11", cut extra for the shamrock stem that you will cut in half to create the "tail; of the shamrock.

Start by folding your pieces in half, take each piece and create a heart by
folding  the open ends to the center and stapling them.

Once all your hearts are assembled create a shamrock by stapling each heart together,
add the tail at the end by stapling it in place as well.  Set them aside and start your rainbow piece.

The rainbow piece consists of one of each of these colors,
purple, blue, green, red, yellow.
Cut each of the five pieces at 1 x 11' cutting each one 1' smaller than the first.
Stack them and staple each side to create the rainbow.  Cut out two hand drawn
clouds and hot glue them on top of the colored pieces.

Line up the rainbow and shamrocks on each side and start to hot glue them together.
At the end of each side I tied some green ribbon to use to hang it.

Turns out so cute!
Have fun making one of these!
