Happy wednesday~
It was a fun few days away last week to Arizona for a quick visit with daughter number one.
We had so much fun leading up to Halloween visiting all the local neighborhoods that were insanel decorated for Halloween Extemely impressive.
On Halloween morning we decided to head to the Superstition mountains for a hike at Boyce Canyon arbortum. If you haven't been here I would suggest you put in on your bingo card. Absolutely stunning area of the desert. So much to see and take in.
Above in this photo we are on a suspension bridge, much smaller than the one
I just did in Canada a few weekends ago, but still amazing.
The hike takes about an hour and a half and when we were done,
I didn't want to go, I wanted to go again. It's that good!
As we gained elevation there was this lake at the top
complete with fish, I was surprised by this since were
in the mountains.
I am always on the look hearts and take a look at this cactus,
there is a heart shaped piece on it!
This is a cliff house that was built into the cliff in the moutains in the very early 1900's
It housed a family of 5, we were able to go in and see how they lived that was truly unbelievable.
It was a great start to Halloween, from here we went to the delish
restuarant call Los Favoritos for the most delicious burritos.
