Creative Class

Friday was a fun filled morning with a group of creatives.
Above are the items we made.

Everyone did a great job making their string art pumpkins

You could choose between a brown or white one

One of my creative friends Jackie decided on making us all crack up by adding these googlie eyes to her pumpkin!  hysterical!

I went acorn hunting and found so many that each of the ladies were able to hot glue all the little hats back on them.  A lot of time when you find the little acorns when they drop they loose their hats, so we glue them back on!
(also, I made sure and heat the acorns first!)

They made these little witches broom lollipops and bath bomb pumpkins wrapped in orange napkins and stamped with pumpkin faces.

We also altered pumpkins.  Some added ribbon, some leaves and ribbon and some acorns.

Treat Tubes

How fun are these spooky or not so spooky test tube treats.
I filled them with the black M&M's and used the cute little crow from the Season to Sparkle stamp set.

You get 12 of these tubes for $5.00
The possibilities are endless.

Season to Sparkle

Oh this stamp set is probably one of my favs for the season.
It covers quite a few holidays.   Check out the set below.
I used the Hardwood stamp for the background for the card above.

I added some greenery I had to the top of the chandelier and the red ribbon.

Moving on to Halloween,  love how you can add any pieces to the
chandelier.  There are so many possibilities!

Mountain Retreat

It was time to head to the mountains for some much needed restoration and creative time.
We did a hike and were able to grab some beautiful pictures

This is the gorgeous Cle elum river

We went to a Fall harvest festival, they had these unique pumpkins there in the pumpkin patch.  I love the look of the gray one below.
The one above is called a pink lady.

We had a full weekend of creative crafts.
This is one of the projects we made, string art pumpkins.

Interest in making one of these cuties?
At this friday's creative class we will be making these and some other fun fall/halloween projects.

Dollar Tree Pumpkins

I picked up these Dollar Tree carvable pumpkins and decided to alter them.
I used some house paint that I had left from painting my front door.
It's a nice light blue.
All you need is a sponge brush and some paint.  Of course you can always use the little bottles of acrylic paint from the craft stores.

I put one of the pumpkins on my porch and the other on my table with some cute little white pumpkins.

I hope this inspires you to get some pumpkins and paint away!

Halloween Decor

Things are getting a little spooky around here!
Here is a little mantle inspiration for Halloween decor for you.

The skeleton, crow and the gauze are from the Dollar Tree and the velvet pumpkin and the chalk pumpkin from  TJ Maxx.

The wooden window frame is from Michael's.

This cute paper banner and Trick or Treat banner is from Target.

How do you decorate for Halloween?
