Chocolate Bunnies
We are getting ready for Easter around here, What's better than a few chocolate bunnies to have on the Easter table? Eating their ears off! Haahaaa!. We used the molds from the craft stores and dark chocolate. Used the cello bags to package them and tied linen thread at the top and added the tag. In the mouth they go!

Sunburst Whale Card
It's a whale of a card! a little bit of a challenge for you today. Start by cutting your Night of Navy cardstock regular size of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", then your whisper white cardstock at 4 x 5 1/4", then your polka dotted cameo coral paper. On the cameo coral, trace a 2 1/2" circle in the center with a pencil (see below)
Sorry it's hard to see, it's been really cloudy here the last few days. But once you trace your circle you will
use a ruler to create your "pie" pieces. Once you have traced them, take your exacto knife and cut from the center outward, then fold the triangle back. Now finish up the rest of the card.
Have you signed up for Paper Pumpkin yet? you don't want to miss this! it comes right to you door in this sweet orange box filled with all you need to make everything in the box to create beautiful cards and other surprise projects for you. Each month there will be a different kit.

Chevron Background Paper
I thought it would be fun to create some of the ever popular chevron paper.
Products Used:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Ink- Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black
Stamp Set- Feeling Sentimental, Oh Hello!
Accessories- Chevron Embossing Folder
The first card is made with the Tempting Turquiose ink, I made the ferris wheel two tone by stamping it in the tempting turquoise ink first then right into the black and then directly onto the whisper white cardstock. |
This first one is with the Daffodil Delight ink
The telephone booth is made in the Real Red ink with the "Oh Hello" salutation Here's the How to's to make the chevron paper |
To achieve the chevron paper start with your Big Shot and the Chevron embossing folder and a piece of cardstock, I used the Whisper White
Take out your daffodil delight ink and your sponge brayer |
start rolling the ink lightly across the paper as you see in the photo. Roll the ink until you get the desired shade. |

Dress Up Framelit Prom Style
This weekend was all about finding the right Prom dress for my daughter Shelby. We had such a fun experience searching for just the right color and style. After 2 hours of trying on a slew of dresses she finally decided on a beautiful coral formal very sparkly dress. My card is inspired by our special shopping day.
Products Used-
Cardstock- Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Glimmer Paper
Accessories- Dress Up Framelits # 130101 for $24.95, Pool Party Ribbon, Retired Crumb Cake Tulle, (if you don't have any, any tulle will do. Vintage Wallpaper Folder # 120175
Framelit Ovals # 129381 for $ 26.95, Rhinestone Jewels # 119246 for $4.95
Stamp Set - All Dressed Up # 129171 for 21.95
I attached the skiriting by putting sticky strip on the skirt of the dress then layering the tulle in two layers by folding it in half. It is so sparkly with the glimmer paper under it!
