The way to get this look is to first stamp the umbrella in the center, then without reinking your image, just keep stamping over and over at least four times to get the lightest effect.

I "Mustache" thank you's

We needed some guy thank you's for Shaelyn's youth group at church, so we came up with these jars.  They were left over from Shelby's mustache birthday party this year.  We filled them with yummy candy and put the tags on them.  Easy peasy!  and did they LOVE them!

Meet George

Meet George, our resident Peacock.  He showed up about 4 years ago and has since stayed.  He's absolutely beautiful, yet loud and annoying at the same time!  He squakes at 3 am like a dinosaur in Jurrasic Park!  But we love him anyway.  My card was inspired by him today.

Spring has sprung

Sharing a little bit of spring from around my house today,  I love my Lilac tree and  snowball bush, both are in bloom.  I found the pretty glass globe with the bird on top at TJ Maxx, the yellow plate is from Ben Franklin's.  I made a little bird's nest display inside of the globe complete with mossy rocks, a nest with eggs inside. 

Other exciting happenings was Shelby's Prom!  Here she is below with her very good friend Jadin. They had a wonderful time.  There were 45 couples, it took three buses to get them into Seattle for dinner at Salty's on Alki, then off to the Prom at the Seattle Aquarium.  She said it was a "magical" night.  Aaahh to be young again!

More Sneak Peekin!

Spending a little more time with the new Gingham Garden Washi tape.  This time I just ran the tape across the cardstock, THEN, took out my big shot and the Heart Framelits and cut the heart out of the left side of the card.  

Add a cute little butterfly and a greeting and there you have it! a quite easy card!  The Washi tape will be available for you to buy June 1st.

Teacher Appreciation

Found these cute vintage cracker jacks at Target and just added a tag to them, great for the "male" teachers/staff for Teacher/Staff appreciation treats.
