How to upcycle a roll of toilet paper?  Cover it with tissue, fill it with treats and stamp all over it!

Just take a roll of toilet paper and basic white tissue and cut three layers of the tissue at 18".  Fill the roll with candies, then start to roll up the cylinder tying off both end with some baker's twine.

Then using fringe scissors (in the catalog) cut the ends to fringe them.

Yesterday I had such a fun day with my Auntie.  I picked her up in Seattle and brought her out to Woodinville for some Halloween fun at Molbak's.  Not to mention every other store here that is loaded with Halloween decor.  Here are some pics I shot for your scary pleasure!

I noticed the trend this year is vintage Halloween and everything black and creme.....    muuwahhhhhh!

The mini-pallet has returned!

I posted on July 28, 2016 how to make these little cuties.

With this one I added some jute thread to each side and tied a knot in the ends and attached with a glue gun.

Instructions below.......

Here are the directions for the mini pallet 

Start with 14 popsicle sticks, cut the ends off so that each stick

measures 4".

Laying two of them horizontally on your surface.  Take a glue gun and add glue to the first three sticks and align them vertically as you see in the picture.

Now turn the pallet over and add four more, two in the center and one on each side.

Turn the pallet over again and add the remaining 7 sticks to the front of the pallet. 

Here's what it should look like,

of course I had to distress mine.  

Take a little sponge brush and some dark brown acrylic paint and lightly brush strokes of brown across the wood.

Keep and eye out for more ideas that I use this mini little pallet for!
