Gordon Skagit Farms
Have you been?
It's located in the Skagit Valley and boasts 150 varieties of pumpkins, squash and gourds,
As you enter the farm there are many outbuildings and barns and little corners of goodness.
Every part of the property comes alive with every step.
From what I understand the paintings throughout the farm
are painted by the owner, as you can see he is quite talented.
As you wandering path to path you are delighted with all the colors
and vignettes created.
more of the paintings .....
they also give you recipe for a pumpkin bisque soup you can make.
There is also a corn maze and sunflower patch
and how clever is this!
these marigolds lined the entire entry way of one of the barns.
This room was a drying room for all the flowers they grow,
it appears they also offer wreath making classes.
You must go and stroll through the beauty of the fall season.
Don't forget to stop by the bakery they have onsite, I believe
it's called Indulge out of Mount Vernon. It does not disappoint!
