Easter Treats

Are you getting ready for Easter?
Here is an idea for your Easter table, gifts for friends, school treats or to take to a luncheon or book club.

Start by cutting a piece of cardstock 2"x 4"
score each side at 1/4" and fold.

It should look like this once folded.  Add three of the Dove chocolate eggs and put inside of the 2 " x  8" cello bag and tie with twine.

I found these Dove eggs at Target.
They are milk chocolate with coconut center.  So delish!

Party Pandas

There is still time to earn this cute Party Panda set for free!
Our Sale a Bration event runs through March 31st.
Place an order of $50.00 or more and choose from a variety of products for FREE!  The more you spend, the more you choose!

This card is called an easel card.  Super easy to make.  Start by cutting yourself a regular sized card.  5 1/2" x 4 1/2" then fold
the top side of the corner over to create the mountain or what it looks like in the photo, a peak.   I used the happy little party hat panda to hold the card in place.  By placing a flower, panda or any image on the lower portion of the card, it anchors the easel in place to hold it up.  I used a dimensional to pop the panda up.

You can see in the close up how the edge of the card rests slightly underneath the pandas head.   Choose your colors and start to create one of the easel cards.  The back piece that goes on top of the cards is measured at 4 1/4" x 4 1/2"
The candle designer paper measures at 4" x 4 1/4".

The Melon Mambo birthday banner is measured at 1 1/4" x 3 1/2"
I hand cut the end of the banner with paper snips.
The yellow strip at the bottom by the party hat panda is washi tape.

Using a black stampin write maker I added cute little eye lashes to the pandas eyes.  Love her!

Bunny Chick

Funny little card for you today
I used the chick from the set Honeycomb happiness and the ears
from the past Paper Pumpkin set called Bunnie Buddies.

I used the Aqua Painter and the So Saffron yellow ink pad to color the chick in.   The cracked egg is made by punching out Soft Sky cardstock with the oval punch.
Once you punch it out, hand cut the egg in half.

Chicks

Here a chick, there a chick.....
Easter is on it's way and here's a easy card for you.

I stamped the chick first then used the Aqua painter with
So Saffron ink to color the chick in.  I also used a lit bit
of Crumb Cake to shade over the yellow color.

I created the egg by punching a circle out the 1 3/4" circle punch.
Using scissors I just a jagged line across the center to create the egg, then stamped it with the dots from Gorgeous Grunge in Early Espresso ink.

Sheer Perfection

Creative Class cards
I was inspired by Pinterest on each of these cards for spring.
With Easter being April 1st this year, the creative class was all about Easter and Spring.

This vellum is called Sheer Perfection, it was a freebie during Sale a Bration, I think a year ago.
Using up all the things my friends!

Have you ever tried this?
It's a technique of coloring with your stampin write markers on the BACK of vellum.  Even if you don't have printed vellum like you see here you can stamp any image onto vellum, turn it over and color it in.  Turn it back over and you have a muted look.

If you look closely above you can see where I used a white uni-glo pen to draw lines on top of the leaves and petals on the flowers.  Do this on the top side.  Just adds a little touch to your card

Spring is only a week away friends!
Hope these cards are getting you jump started.
Enjoy your sunday!

Creative Class

Today was creative class.
Here are a few of the projects we made today.
This one is pretty easy to make.  Purchase a frame of your choice
and cut the designer  paper to fit your frame.  I ended up glueing the paper to glass instead of putting it behind the glass

The saying "Spring has Sprung" I printed off the computer.
