Fable Friends

I wanted to share with you this stamp set Fable Friends
These designs come from our Artisan designer from the UK
Mikaela Titheridge.

She created these beautiful images using the stamp set and
was able to make it resemble Beatrix Potter Characters.
Everything she created is so sweet and subtle in color.

All the products she used can be found in our Stampin Up catalog.
Fabled Friends #148670
Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper # 146284

I thought you might like to see what a beautiful job she did at creation this sweet set.

Bunny Bear

Easter is a comin!
Here a cute little card made with the Baby Bear stamp set.
I added the ears from last year's Paper Pumpkin Easter set.

Cute to alter the bear into a bunny bear.
The eggs are also from the same paper pumpkin set.

Do you make Easter cards to send to people still?
I guess I am always trying to decide whether to show cards
much anymore.  Are people making them?
I would love to hear your opinion on what you would like
to see on my blog and what it is that you look forward to seeing.
Thanks for your input!

Mini Cards

Rae Dunn inspired mini 3 x 3" cards to gift a friend.
These are so extremely easy and simplistic to make.

If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through Stampin Up!
then you will have this stamp set from past pumpkin's
I try and show you other ideas for you to use your Paper
Pumpkin stamp sets so that they don't just sit and collect
dust!

Once the cards are all stamped I bundled them up
with some buffalo plaid ribbon and some greens.

How cute is this little gift to give someone?
So sweet......

Distressed Easter Eggs

How about trying out these cuties?
The certainly look like wood eggs don't they,
but they aren't~ they are the paper mache' eggs.
They can be found at any of your local craft stores, I also saw some
at Target in the dollar spot.  I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby,
12 for $5.40 with their 40% off coupon.

Here's what they look like before they are painted.
To paint them I used a paint brush and some white acrylic craft paint.   Dipping the brush in the paint, going from top to bottom of the egg, lightly brush the paint onto the egg to give it a distressed look.

I used these cute felt flowers that I tied around the egg by wrapping linen thread around the egg two times and then
feeding the thread up through the hole to then tie a
bow. That's it!  They dry pretty darn quick too.

Don't they look like wooden eggs?
So cute!  Hope you try this diy out for yourself~

Spring Decor

Sharing a little spring decor today.
We made these cute little frames last year in creative class.
The frames are from the Dollar Tree as well as the spanish moss.
The eggs are from the craft store as well as the news print scrapbook paper.

I removed the glass from the frame and added the newsprint paper
To make the nest using the spanish moss create a  circle and using a hot glue gun glue it to the paper.  Using your finger push away the moss to create space for the eggs.
I created the banner by writing spring has sprung in Mircosoft word and printing it out.
The entire thing cost maybe $3.00 to make
Hope you give it a try!

Spring in the air

With spring being here in Seattle the bees are a buzzin
everywhere!  They always remind me that spring has sprung as they start to pollinate everything in site.

Super neutral card made with the Sahara Sand cardstock and basic black cardstock.  I used the big shot framelits to cut out the circles and a paper piecer to punch the holes in the circles.
