What a beautiful fall weekend away to the Cascades.
We stopped along the way to walk the Gold Creek pond trail.
It never disappoints no matter the season.
Even though it's fall, snow started to fall in the pass
yesterday which is early for us. We don't usually get a good
snowfall until at least the week before Thanksgiving or the week after.
You could definitely feel the change in the air while
we were there.
In the photo above the water is so clear you can see to the bottom
of the lake. Just gorgeous.
All of us girls have know each others for years
and make it a priority each year to head away together.
Ran into this ole' granddaddy and his herd
Had to visit the local Fall festival and pumpkin farm...
These warty pumpkins were by far the fav.
There are so many amazing varieties of pumpkins
out there, who knew?
If you are local and looking for a beautiful fall hike
head to Gold Creek Trail for a great day!
