Beautiful Butterfly

Got invited this week to play along with Stampin Up Connections
weekly card sketch challenge.  Since the week is passing by quite
quickly I thought I better get crack a lackin!  Here is my card
for the challenge.  Used the SU! textured impressions polka dot
envelope on old olive, pink passion and summer sun cardstock.
Punched out the butterflies from the Big Shot Die Beautiful Butterflies
and sponged some pink passion ink on to ink.  Chocolate chip
base to the cards and summer sun cordouroy button.  xoxo

Fancy Favor Purse

Today's post is a cute little purse box made from the
SU! Fancy Favor Box Die.  You will need the die
to make one of these.  As you see in the above
picutre you will cut one out and cut the deckel
edge off the top so it is smooth.  You will need two
3 1/2 x 3 1/2 coasters for each side.  Start by putting together
your box with adhesive.  Then take the coasters and cover
one side with matching cardstock as the box the other
with designer paper.  I have used the cute Sweet Pea
with the birds.  After I attached the paper I went back and
cut out extra clouds and birds for the 3D look and added them
to the paper as well as a sun that I cut out of a 1 1/4' circle
and then drew the yellow sun rays and added the googlie eyes.
I used dimensionals to pop up the birds and clouds.
The ribbon is stitched chocolate chip and cut at 8 1/2' for
both pieces.  Make sure and attach them BEFORE you put
the coasters onto the box/purse.   There you have it!  xoxo

New! Fabulous Five!

Well here is something new to my website!  For as long as I have been a demonstrator for SU!  I have always shared this idea with my downline at my meetings.  I have always introduced a new stamp set with the idea that they need to make 5 things with the set.  Somewhat of a challenge for
them. Sometimes we get a set and make one thing and away on the shelf it goes! This way you actually challenge yourself to make more things with it!
So the pictures you see here are the Fab Five for this month,  I will be posting one a month.  The set is Good Friend in the SU idea and catalog 2009/10 book on page 112.  If you do not have it you can order it by clicking on the catalog to the right. This set of 5 is available in a kit that you can purchase to the right as well.

Card for the day....

Today's card is an inspiration for Sale a Bration.
I have used the Happy Moments stamp set and the
Well Scripted stamp set for this easy stamp camp
card for your customers to make or yourself!
The punch is the ornament punch that I just
punch towards the bottom of the cardstock
to turn into a vase.  The flowers are buttons.
Everything can be found in the occasions mini catalog
and the sale a bration catalog!  Happy Stamping!  xoxo
