Ghostly fun

Good morning friends!
Ready for some ghostly fun?
This little craft is super easy to make.

How cute are they?!!

Let's get started....
Start with a piece of 5"x 5" piece of muslin,
a black sharpie, a 16mm wood bead and some jute.

Start with using an aul and poke a hole in the center of the muslin,

Thread the jute through the hole to the other side.

Now take the wood bead and thread it through
the jute....

Tie off the jute right at the hole on the back of
the wood bead.

Take out your glue gun and add just a little bit to the wood bead,
wrap the muslin around it and pinch in the middle to create the neck
of the ghost.

Cinch in the center like this....

And there you have it!!
Boootiful!!!

Halloween Cat diy

Back at it today sharing how to make this cute little
diy Halloween cat decor.
You just need the little wooden cat, frame and
black acrylic paint.
All three items are at the Dollar Tree.

Paint your cat black and once dry clip it under
the clip.  Add some black or colored baker's twine
to the clip and stamp yourself a spooky saying
to attach to the frame with hot glue.
How stinkin cute is that!
They also sell wooden ghosts and pumpkins too!
If your Dollar Tree doesn't have them, check
their online store.
Muuuuwaaaaaahhhhhh!!!

Fall Fun

What a beautiful fall weekend away to the Cascades.
We stopped along the way to walk the Gold Creek pond trail.
It never disappoints no matter the season.
Even though it's fall, snow started to fall in the pass
yesterday which is early for us.  We don't usually get a good
snowfall until at least the week before Thanksgiving or the week after.

You could definitely feel the change in the air while
we were there.
In the photo above the water is so clear you can see to the bottom
of the lake.  Just gorgeous.

All of us girls have know each others for years
and make it a priority each year to head away together.

Ran into this ole' granddaddy and his herd

Had to visit the local Fall festival and pumpkin farm...

These warty pumpkins were by far the fav.
There are so many amazing varieties of pumpkins
out there, who knew?
If you are local and looking for a beautiful fall hike
head to Gold Creek Trail for a great day!

Diy hat pumpkin

Let's have a little fun with some winter hats and either
a real pumpkin, or faux pumpkin.
 Whatever kind you might
have on hand will do the trick!
The one I have is a roll of toilet paper that I covered with a orange napkin.  It really doesn't even matter what color it is as it's going to be covered with the hat.
The sweater type hat I found at the dollar tree, it has a hole in the top
which is perfect to push the stem through.

All you have to do it take the hat and put it over the pumpkin,
literally that is it!  I didn't glue it or anything, just added a little green to the stem.

Pull it over the pumpkin stem....

How cute is this?!!
It almost looks macrame'

All done and loving it!

Halloween finds

Hey there!
I wanted to share with you some cute Halloween
things I found recently at the Dollar Tree.
Sometimes you can find some really cute things,
other times not so.
But take a look at these cute items for Halloween.

First up is this cute vintage wall sign made on a faux
shiplap wood and the jack o lantern has glittery black eyes
and mouth.  Super cute!

Then this adorable glass pumpkin,
you could put a faux candle in it or treats and
tie a ribbon around it to gift.  It's a good size too.

Check out this "spooktacular" ghost.
He's about 5" tall and when you turn him on,
he turns four different colors!

Even better than that, it blinks all the four colors!
Super fun find and it's heavy duty.
You just never know what you're going to
find at the Dollar Tree.
If your local Dollar Tree doesn't carry them,
be sure and go to there website and order.
They do store pickup or home shipping.

Haunts & Harvest: Paper Pumpkin September 2021

Here comes fall!  And what a great way to experience the season with this month's fall season kit.  Look at these cute little pumpkins that allow you a fall hands on creative experience.

There is enough supplies to create 12 boxes, 4 or each designs.  You can choose an apple, pumpkin or jack-o- lantern that you can share with your little tricker treaters come Halloween night.

They come in this adorable wood like box,
once you open it all the little boxes are inside for
you to stamp and put together.
Watching the video will show you how to put the boxes together.
It's fun to watch the video just to see how easy it is to use these kits.
I hope it helps!
Let's get our fall on!
