Christmas floral arrangement

The best part of the holiday season is giving!  I packaged up this beautiful holiday arrangement to give a friend.  I should have taken a picture of the arrangement before I packaged it up.  I made the tag by creating a rosette and then adding the tag to the front of the package.

Christmas Decor

Decking the halls, the walls, you name it.   Sharing some of my holiday decor.  Finally getting some things done around here.  I love to bring the outdoors in as I did for my Thanksgiving decor.  I try to look around my house to add things to my tree or decor.  

This is a gorgeous wreath I found at Michael's last season marked down to $2.99- not kidding! I added some birch candles to the center and there you have it!

Vintage mason jars that I filled with water and floating candles. I wrapped a long swag around them on put them on a bronze charger.

Sweet little snowman someone gave me and a holiday floral bouquet I put together.

I keep seeing these hanging wreaths and soooo wanted one.  Decided I would have to make one.  I took two wreaths and stacked them and put them together with wire.  I then tied the red ribbon to meet at the middle so I could hang it.  

THE reason for the season

I hope my holiday decor has inspired you to take a look around your house to see what you can create or add to what you have.  You'd be surprised what we all have laying around that you certainly can incorporate into your decorating.

Once in a while right in the middle of our ordinary lives love gives us an angel.  don't miss them. 

Chocolate Santas

What a fun time this was!   The company I used to work for- (I've been gone a year and a half now)  has invited me back for their annual Christmas party the last two years, and this year the activity was candy making!  It was so "sweet"!!!!

These were all the  melted colored chocolates you could create from.   You were able to choose two plastic molds to make your chocolates.  I chose a Santa box and gingerbread men molds.

The creations were amazing!  Everyone's were all so different.  You could also make chocolates with caramel filling!   

I personally just wanted to eat everything!

Here is the Santa box I made.  I ended up making 3!  Plus they send you home with the molds you choose so you can make more!!!

Of course I had to box them up and make special tags for them with our Home for Christmas designer paper!

Home for Christmas

Happy saturday morning!   a little sweetness coming your way from my studio!   This vintage paper just melts my heart!  Rudolph never look so darling!  The red nose  comes from this month's Paper Pumpkin pack.  I had left over "berries"  that I need to put to use.   The paper and Rudolph come our Home for Christmas designer series paper.  And boy it does not disappoint!

As we all approach the festive season it's easy to get caught up in the chaos.  Don't forget what its all about,  LOVE ~  go spread some around you!  we all could use it right now.   Peace be with each of you~

Ghirardelli Rudolph Treats

Getting some little treats ready for upcoming events.  Aren't these little vintage deer just the sweetest!   If you purchased this month's Paper Pumpkin, it came with these red dots for the holly berry to use on the cards.  I had many left and used them for Rudolph's nose.

I purchased the Ghirardelli Peppermint bark dark chocolates and wrapped them with the musical note paper from our Home for Christmas paper series.  I cut it at 2" x 6"

The reindeer's are also in the package of paper and I just fussy cut them out and added them on top.  

I was at our local Pike Place Market this past weekend and this bouquet just stopped me in my tracks.  Amazingly gorgeous!  These are cabbage and this vendor uses them in her bouquets she sells.  Just breathtaking!

Winter Wishes

Warm Wishes to you and yours!   

Old time sled and some hardwood make this card an easy one to create with the Winter Wishes Stamp Set.

I stamped the Hardwood stamp three different directions on the crumb cake cardstock to give it a slight pattern.
