Clever Cat

Good morning!

I warned you there'd be more.....

The halloween dsp cracks me up with these googlie

eyed skeletons peeking out from behind 

the image on top.

I cut out an extra skeleton head and used the stamp set Clever Cat  for the broom and witch hat and spider. 

It all came together perfectly!

Pumping out a bunch of Halloween cards over here,

give me a new Halloween stamp set and it's a recipe

for early Halloween card overload!

The stamp sets I used are;

Delicate Dahlia

Back today with some more of the Delicate Dahlia

stamp set.  This time instead of bright colors

I chose Basic Gray to give this card a black and white 

photographic look.

A totally different look, yet still stunning.

I was so excited when I saw the new stamp set

Delicate Dahlia.

This stamp set looks so realistic and stamps

so nicely.

What I found with this stamp is that the darker the ink

the more detailed look on the flower.

The colors of ink I used are Calyspo Coral and 

Crushed Curry.  I stamped the coral ones

three times, then stamped the Crushed Curry

flower and popped it up on top of the coral ones.

These colors just scream fall!

The background behind the pumpkin is the Halloween

stamp from the new stamp set I showed you last week 

called "Well Defined"

I stamped it twice on the white cardstock and then stamped 

the pumpkin and the hat separately and cut them out and 

popped them up on the top of the words.

Pretty darn easy card. 

The black background paper that reads "boo" is from the new halloween designer series paper called;

"Cute Halloween"

Delivering Cheer

Are you ready for some more cheer?

Making it's second debut the new Delivering Cheer

stamp set from the now live Mini Catalog.

As you can see they have interchangeable pieces

which allow you to change the clothes and items that

she is carrying.

To make her skirt fluffy I cut four pieces of pink 

tissue paper and layered them on top of each other.

The top piece is the skirt stamped on white card stock

cut out and glued on top of the tissue.

The sparkly background paper is new too and 

it's called "Be Dazzling" 

I used Blushing Bride ink to color in the skirt and shirt 

and the greens are Mossy Meadow.

Sideboard Styling

Good Morning!

Sharing with you some easy basic ideas for decorating on your sideboards or cabinets you have in your home.

I love to use pillows to take up space.

Above is a long sideboard that I have, I tend to lean

towards more decor items that have texture. 

I added this jute rug in front of the cabinet,

and added a basket with pillows tucked inside.

I added a vase with wood beads and some more

pillows off to the side.

It's fun to add and take away decor items to see what 

you like in your space. 

As I always say, look around your house in different rooms

and see if you have anything you want to add around 

to your other rooms rather than buying new things unless

you have an idea of something specifically you'd like.  

Hope this motivates and helps you a little bit in adding 

pieces to your decor.
