Spiral Flower Die Bags

Happy friday!  I LOVE, Love, love the new Spiral Flower Die!

My youngest Daughter is turning 13 next week, so I made up these sweet bags for her birthday.  I used the Spiral Flower die to make these roses.  I posted the video below to show you how to make them.   And I tell you they take no time at all!   So easy!  and look at the results.

Alphabet Press take 2

Sharing another card today made with the Alphabet Press embossing folder technique I showed on monday.  I used the Basic Gray classic ink with this card.

Well here is a fun new technique I tried this weekend.  I used the Stampin' Up! embossing folder Alphabet Press to make this card.

Pool Party Baker's Twine

Stamp Set- Bring On the Cake!  #128490

I used a little baker's twine and tied it around the finger as a reminder to wish big!

I started with the Alphabet press embossing folder and a black stampin spot.  I tried to use the classic size stamp pad but found better results with the spot.  Rub the ink and tap it all over the side of the folder that is NOT raised.  I know this seems incorrect but you will see it is the right side.   Put your paper between the folder and run through the Big Shot machine.

 you can see I just rubbed and tapped the ink onto the folder....

Below I tried it on some other colors of paper.  Black on coastal cabana, Basic Gray on very vanilla, coastal cabana on whisper white.  They all look great!  Now see what you can come up with!

More Word Bubbles

Sharing some more word bubbles today.  I used the word bubble framelits on this card as a "mask"  Take and punch out the word bubbles of your choice and use just a touch of mono adhesive to the back so that the bubbles don't move.   I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to create all the paint splatter.  Stamp all over the white cardstock, even over top of the word bubbles.   Once all stamped remove the word bubbles.

Here's what I started with.....

You can see that I stamped EVERYWHERE! basically made a mess!!

Before removing the bubbles take your black stampin write marker and trace around each of them.

Now stamp the inside of the bubbles,  I used the Bring on the cake stamp set.

Washi Tape Birthday Cake card

A little more fun with the washi tape.  This again is the Retro Fresh washi tape.   I used the stamp set Bring on the Cake again and just used a stampin write maker to color in just the bottom of the cake stand.  Then I started layering the three different washi tapes on top of each other to create the cake layers.

Word Bubble Washi tape style

Since I have been showing a lot lately made with

the word bubbles,

 I thought I would show you how to make one with your washi tape.

Take a look below for the instructions......

And here's how it goes!

Start with a piece of white cardstock- 3 3/4" x 5", take a pencil and draw a bubble towards the middle of the card as shown. 

Take your washi tape,  I have used Stampin Up! Retro fresh.....

Using your Stampin Up! cutting blade, cut around the traced bubble you created and peel away.....

It will look like this...... (below)

Now stamp into the bubble area,

Word Bubbles

Good morning!  well this would have to be one quick and easy card!  Did you receive your Paper Pumpkin this month?  if so it included these adorable wood pieces.   I have many left after putting together the cute scrapbook for this month's pumpkin.
