Red Caramel Blood Drips
1 C of sugar
1/2 light corn syrup
1/4 c of hot water
1/4 teaspoon red food coloring
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir until sugar is moistenend. Heat saucepan over medium heat until mixture reaches soft boiling stage, about 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. Once cooled take your glasses and lightly dip them in the mixture, set upright to dry. (you don't want to have much on the glass, just a little bit so that it runs down the glass slightly. Allow caramel to dry overnight if possible. |
