Here's what to expect each month:

Each month Stampin' Up! will send you a surprise kit with a project-cards, journals, décor, and more! (They've even color-coordinated, measured, and cut everything for you!)Each kit includes stamps, ink, paper, and accessories-everything but adhesive and scissors.
Each kit will take you on a 30-40-minute creativity escape. Then you can use the stamps and other things to make more projects on your own!
Stampin' Up will ship your Paper Pumpkin on or around the 15th of the month.
You need to sign up for Paper Pumpkin by the 10th of the month to get that month's kit. If you sign up on the 11th of the month, your first kit will come the next month. (Let's say you sign up on May 10th, we'll send your kit around May 15th. If you sign up on May 11th, we'll send your first kit around June 15th.) Once the ship date is passed you can no longer get that month's kit.
A Paper Pumpkin membership is only $19.95 per month (and shipping is included!)
You can cancel your monthly Paper Pumpkin at anytime. You can also skip a month if you want.

Flower Trim

These beautiful new vintage flowers are so fun to play with.  They come on a strip of tulle approx. 2 yards at 5/8" wide.  You can cut them one by one which is done here.  Use your sponge daubers  and ink pad,  rub dauber into the ink, then right onto the flower to create a light coloring, the color used here is the So Saffron.

Valentine Ice Cream Sandwich on a stick

Valentine's Day!/ So Cute!   Add a little Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine  and a hand stamped tag to this chocolate ice cream heart, whether it's for the kid's in the classroom or co workers, they will love receiving this treat!
Purchase ice cream sandwich bars at grocer and cut with a heart shaped cookie cutter, then roll the sides into any cake/cupcake sprinkles of your choice, take candy sticks and insert.
 Put bag over top, tie with twine and add your tag.
Now how cute is that!

Chalkboard Frame Class

When out picking up frames for the class I also found these gold ones that I thought would be fun to spray paint and decorate.  Below is how they looked originally.  I used basic spray paint, a couple coats and then on the blue one used chalkboard contact paper in the center and added an embellishment from the new Artisan Embellishment kit.  Very simple.

Happy Whale Valentine

Getting a little happy over here at Thoughts That Stick- happy that it's Sale A Bration and Valetine's time. The new Happy Whale Clearlit is so cute! I wanted to make the whales come alive so I took my paper snips and gave them each a mouth, added a blow hole and googlie eyes.  The fins were made by using the fish that is also included in the clearlit (see below).  Just cut the fish tail off and there you have it!

Soda Pop Tops Business Card Holder

Here are the new Soda Pop Tops in our Spring Catalog. They are so fun and retro.  I have been playing with them and thought it would be fun to make a business card holder and attach them to the front of it.  I have used the Big Shot Top Note die for the holder and made a box to fit the front to hold the cards.   I have used the Storytime designer series paper to decorate it with.   The soda pop tops come in  two sizes  1/2" and 1 ", you get 16 total,

Honeycomb Heart Bag

I love our new Creped Filter Paper!  it's the look of tissue paper with the strength of cardstock. Fun to stamp on, dye, ink, stitch or punch like I have done here.  I remember the honeycomb hearts that I used to receive as a little girl on valentine cards and wanted to recreate them with the crepe paper.  It was very easy to do and you can look below at this post to see how I did it.

Start by cutting out at least 15 of the hearts with the heart framelit

Take the Stampin Up! anywhere glue each heart together in the center, folder the heart in half and glue the two center heart pieces together.  Then fan out the heart as you see below.  Attach to a card, a bag like I have.

All Dressed Up!

Want to be a little fashion designer?  Well look no further!  Check out this adorable  new stamp set/framelits where you can create some really cute dresses.  I have used our new More Amore Designer Series paper to make the skirt of the dress.  I cut out two of the skirts, then scores them where the ruffles folds are, fold them and then glued them down with the Tombow adhesive glue.

I put lace trim on the bottom of the dress.  The lace is from the new Artisan Embellishment Kit #129328 in the Spring Catalog.

More Amore, our new Valentine Designer Series Paper!  Love it!  and you will too!  It comes with these pretty doilys ready to be cut our and used on cards, scrapbook pages, these cute suckers!

My Little Valentine Samples
