Nature's Peace

This is a new stamp called Nature's Peace, it is a large background stamp.  I used it here on basic black cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder.   To give it the chalkboard effect use your sponge daubers and lightly brush white ink across the image then just frame in a frame of your choice.  I added a touch of greenery from my christmas decoration stash.

The matching card is made with another one of our background stamps- Hardwood, covers the entire 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" card as you can see.   I stamped it in chocolate chip on natural white cardstock.

Pear Pizzaz is behind the basic black piece and the technique is the same on the card as the framed artwork.  The candy dots in cherry cobbler are the berries and  I used the same greenery.   I also try and look around the house to repurpose and use what I have to add to my pieces.

Paper Cone Wreaths

Been busy getting these paper wreaths ready for our big event and also to show you how to make them!

The one above is made with this year's Halloween paper called "Motley Monsters" 

I used the stamp set Mingle all the Way to stamp the inside of the frames on each of the wreaths.  I found these cute fames at Michaels, they were a mere 25 cents, the one below was orange so I sprayed painted it the blue color. It takes a half of pack of our designer paper packs to make, that's 6 sheets.

Freaky Friends

Here are some cute lil' Halloween treats everyone will want to get.

They are the sour cream paper containers.  So easy to make and so cute!  Cut yourself a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock or designer paper and on the long side run some double sided tape.  Roll it together then close off one side first, making sure to put your treat inside.
