Friday's creative class was so fun creating some Christmas projects. Above everyone is at the hot glue station, which I now have decided to call the Glue Bar!
More happy creatives!
These two were creating outside of the box! One of the projects were to decorate these glass ornaments. They turned their's into these hysterical Rudolph ornaments! Look at those googlie eyes!
We made these pallet "Peace On Earth" wall decor
The white wood boards I found at the Dollar Tree, they were originally brown with a saying on them. I used antique white spray paint to cover them up and dry brushed some brown raw umber acrylic paint to distress them.
And for the man in our lives, we wrapped "firestarters" by duraflame to add to their Christmas stockings.
They made a set of 6 of the Winter cards covered in glitter.
It's always fun to find ornaments that you can alter. These were simple glass colored ornaments that they added vintage trim to, some gold threading and a bell.
This was the last ornament made. I found these cute plastic ornaments at the Dollar Tree. They come empty. I picked up some trees and snowmen and mica flake snow to put inside of them. Pretty darn cute!
You have such a great eye to be able to see one thing and turn it into something completely different! Group came up with some pretty good projects, but how did you get the decorations into the clear plastic one (the last one)?...that's a winner!
ReplyDeleteThank you Beverly! It's my mind, it won't shut off sometimes!
DeleteThe last plastic ornament acutally has a lid at the bottom that screws off. We glued the tree and snowman into the lid, added some snow inside the plastic part and screwed it all back together.
