Adventuring

Good morning!

We slipped away for a few days to the mountains to take in some 

snow and sunshine.  The morning started off with this gorgeous

sunrise.  As it warmed up we decided to head to Lake Cleelum to snow shoe around the lake.  The weather was perfect, snowy, sunny and 40 degrees.  Barely had to wear much snow gear. 

The views say it all.  Hard to tell we were out there between 11am-1.

Looks so gray compared to how bright out it was....

We got down very close to the lake which you can see is still

quite frozen over. 

Oh hello!

Here's my hubby a bit ahead of me, you can see the edge of the lake

there.  Looks icy and cold but was so warm.
