The Salt River

Hello from sunny/hot Arizona!

We are down visiting family for the Easter week and have been having a fun time adventuring.

We set up a kayak tour with REI on the Salt River in hopes of seeing lots of wildlife and wild horses.

We were lucky enough to see plenty of birds and otters but no horses. We could hear them in the brush but they did not make their debut.

The float in double kayaks was about two hours in length and the weather was perfect!
