Who's ready for a Christmas diy?
Come on, it's not too early for these.
And better yet, even the kiddos can make these!
What you'll need:
mini ball jars (the 4" ones)
battery operated tea lights
(you can get 4 for a $1 at the Dollar tree)
some glitter paper, can be any color, I chose silver
Silver tinsel ribbon or any ribbon you prefer
3D medium sized glue dots
Start with your ball jar lid, using an aul punch a hole through the
center of the lid. Take your silver tinsel twine or which ever
ribbon you have on hand and feed it through the hole front
to back. Like you see below.
I used my hot glue gun and put a dot of glue underneath
the knotted twine to keep it in place.
Now moving onto the tea light,
cut your piece of chosen paper 1/2" x 5.
Using your glue gun add a dot of glue anywhere
on the candle and add the paper, wrap it around and
secure it with another dot of glue. All done!
Mine looks like this.... look below
Moving onto the ball jar,
take one of the 3D glue dots and
put it in the bottom of the jar.
Add the tea light, be sure you turn it to on before
you set in the bottom of the jar.
Looks like this.....
Put the lid back on and hand it from a tree or Chrismtas tree!
How pretty and easy was that!
When it's dark out and it's even prettier!
Hope you made one of these beauties!
