It was a beautiful wedding coordinating weekend in gorgeous

The weather was perfect at 80 degrees.

The grounds there are just stunning with loads of hydrangras turning colors for the fall.

Wildflowers covered the reception area and tables.

Fall pumpkin succulents

Happy wednesday!
I picked up some white mini pumpkins and decided to forge some succulents from my garden.  If you don't have any you can pick some up at your local nursery.
I've made these before and believe I have shared them with you.

I picked some small, medium and larged sized succulents.

Start with some spanish moss and your heat gun,
just take a little bit of the moss and lightly glue it to the top
of the pumpkins.

Take your succulents and some cutting shears and cut the ends of the succulents off so that they are flushed flat so that they are easy to glue to the pumpkins.

Cut is as flush as you can get it.

Start by gluing the largest succulent first then adding the
other two to finish it off.

Once all three are glued on cut any stray moss around
that might be sticking up.

Look at how cute they turned out!
Such a fun craft to make and gift.

Dollar Tree Flamigo/Vulture

Muuuwaaaahhhhh!
The finished project!
Those of you who have followed along for sometime know my aunts love for Halloween.  She like a more spookier version than I do and posts that I have shared with you showcase her talent for how she decorates her home inside and out.

I found these flamingos at the Dollar Tree and decided to
give them a makeover by turning them into halloween
vultures to gift to my aunt.

You will want to start with a black spray paint and
if you can, find a maroon can as well.  I couldn't find
any so I opted to use a maroon aryclic for the neck.

Start by wrapping the neck of the flamingo with a plastic grocery bag.
I didn't feel the need tape it off and just wrapped it around it while I spray painted it.

Once they are dry then get out the maroon paint.  If you were able to find the spray paint then use the same bags and wrap them around the
body of the flamingo and start to paint the neck being sure to not paint the beak.  For the acrylic paint it took me three coats to cover the pink so if you can find the maroon spray paint that would be quicker for covering.

I had some furry white ribbon that I glued around the
neck.  I found mine at Michael's.  It's sold with all the other ribbon especially around the holidays.
Isn't this fun!  My aunt will LOVE to add this to her Halloween spooky house!

Halloween broom treats

Happy friday!
Bringing you a fun and easy treat idea for Halloween,
whether for friends, teachers, class parties, littles
or luncheons.  This is a cute one!
I started with stick pretzels, black and white straws,
some 3 x 2" bags and some ribbon.

Start by filling up your little baggie with the pretzels,
insert the straw to the bottom of the bag leaving the
"broom" handle sticking out of the top and tie off
with your ribbon.

Like this......
Now,  I know a lot of individuals don't celebrate halloween
so hers is an alternative for you.
I purchased these bark looking straws on Amazon to
give the broom a autumn vibe. So if the Halloween
version isn't you try it this way.

Either way is cute!

Have a fun weekend giving these a try!

Halloween diy soap

Let's start with some soap,
I chose dial foaming soap, you can choose whichever
brand you like.

I went online and found this cute ghost image
that I printed out to put on the front of these
soap containers.

I used the big shot machine and the oval dies to cut out the
the image.  Use some adhesive to attach to the front of the container.

Add a little ribbon or baker's twine to finish it off.
Here you go! So cute!

Halloween tic tac treats

Head to your dollar tree for a pack of tic tacs and these cute little mini glass halloween jars.

Look at how cute these little apothecary bottles are,
each one is a little different.

I filled each one with the tic tacs,
they are so cute and will be fun to gift to friends
for Halloween.

I might add a little rafia around the lid of the
bottle to add a little flare and fun.
Have fun making some of these!

wedding gift ideas

Happy friday!
Heading to a special wedding this weekend and wanted
to gift the bride and groom with a memorable gift.
I bought a bottle of wine and removed the label,
then took a photo of them and sized it to fit the bottle
and printed it out and adhered it to the bottle.
I love how it turned out!

Next up I purchased a framed and ordered a picture of the couple
to center in the frame.  I used their invite, some raw edged ribbon, lace
and made a blue wax seal in blue.  I arranged it within the frame
and wrapped it all up.

On the back I added a scripture card,
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgive each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32
