Halloween broom treats

Happy friday!
Bringing you a fun and easy treat idea for Halloween,
whether for friends, teachers, class parties, littles
or luncheons.  This is a cute one!
I started with stick pretzels, black and white straws,
some 3 x 2" bags and some ribbon.

Start by filling up your little baggie with the pretzels,
insert the straw to the bottom of the bag leaving the
"broom" handle sticking out of the top and tie off
with your ribbon.

Like this......
Now,  I know a lot of individuals don't celebrate halloween
so hers is an alternative for you.
I purchased these bark looking straws on Amazon to
give the broom a autumn vibe. So if the Halloween
version isn't you try it this way.

Either way is cute!

Have a fun weekend giving these a try!

Halloween diy soap

Let's start with some soap,
I chose dial foaming soap, you can choose whichever
brand you like.

I went online and found this cute ghost image
that I printed out to put on the front of these
soap containers.

I used the big shot machine and the oval dies to cut out the
the image.  Use some adhesive to attach to the front of the container.

Add a little ribbon or baker's twine to finish it off.
Here you go! So cute!

Halloween tic tac treats

Head to your dollar tree for a pack of tic tacs and these cute little mini glass halloween jars.

Look at how cute these little apothecary bottles are,
each one is a little different.

I filled each one with the tic tacs,
they are so cute and will be fun to gift to friends
for Halloween.

I might add a little rafia around the lid of the
bottle to add a little flare and fun.
Have fun making some of these!

wedding gift ideas

Happy friday!
Heading to a special wedding this weekend and wanted
to gift the bride and groom with a memorable gift.
I bought a bottle of wine and removed the label,
then took a photo of them and sized it to fit the bottle
and printed it out and adhered it to the bottle.
I love how it turned out!

Next up I purchased a framed and ordered a picture of the couple
to center in the frame.  I used their invite, some raw edged ribbon, lace
and made a blue wax seal in blue.  I arranged it within the frame
and wrapped it all up.

On the back I added a scripture card,
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgive each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

Halloween Decor

Muuuwwaaaaahhh!
Back with a spooky idea to decorate your guest shower.
My downstairs bathroom shower rarely gets used
and looked bare, so I decided that it would be fun
to put a little stool inside the shower and add
a jack-o-lantern with a battery operated candle.
I love how it turned out!

Plain shower just waiting to be spooked up!

I added this cute little stool I picked up at Homegoods,
the faux jack-o-lantern I have had for years.
You can find them at Michael's or even Amazon.

Add a battery operated candle and there you go!

It's fun to walk in to use the restroom and see him
glowing from the shower!
It's the little things.....

Wooden Christmas tags

Look at these adorable wooden tags,
I found these at Hobby Lobby, 12 for $2.50.
Thesy even have the cute little beads attached.

I used a small christmas tree stamp stamped in Garden Green.
I was also able to find a small tree to stamp on them and added
some gold glitter once they dried.

If you don't have a small tree stamp you can look through
your stamp collection to find something just as cute.
Happy stamping!

Christmas tags

Happy saturday!
It's never too early to start your christmas cards and tags!
Bored? recuperating from something? stuck in the house?
here you go!
Make some christmas tags!

These tags are super easy, just cut out the vintage santa image
and mount on any designer scrapbook paper then mount onto
some cardstock and add your baker's twine.

Love the look of these ole' world charm santas,
you can make these for yourself, package them up
for gifts for friends or co-worker and add a roll of wrapping
paper to gift someone.  Who wouldn't like to receive wrap and tags.
Makes a great teacher holiday gift as well.

This pack of scrapbook paper come with the images you see, you just
need cardstock and baker's twine to complete.
Here is the link for the paper....

diy decoupage plate

Happy monday!
Here's a fun craft for you right out of the archives.
We used to make these all the time for creative classes.
These plates can be found at the dollar tree and the napkins I found at
HomeGoods.

Start by taking a napkin and peeling it apart so that the napkin is separated from the lining.

Take your glass plate, sponge brush and mod podge,
slowly add mod podge once you have the plate covered.
Gently add the napkin and spread it across the plate.
Add the napkin.

You images should be showing on the reverse side of the plate.
Once you have it in place carefully add just a little bit of
mod podge to the back, now let dry.

Once dry it will look like this, begin to cut around
the edge of the plate to removed the rough edges.

Here it is all done!  so cute!
Remember, these plates are NOT dishwashing.
Have fun crafting!
