Easter Egg Decorating

Easter is almost here. It’s time to have crazy fun decorating Easter eggs!  The method featured here is super-easy.

I found this on our Stampin Up! blog and thought it is so pretty.

You can use any type stamp.  

stamp with our classic ink pads right onto the napkin

then Modge Podge it to the egg....

Hey There!

Well here is a new technique for you to try today.  This is watercolor washing.   You use our watercolor paper with the Aqua Painter.  You can see below how I did this.   Before opening your ink pad give it a squish together so that when you open it you can see the ink on the cover.   Add a bit of water to make it somewhat watery.   Take your Aqua Painter which also has water in it and grab some ink and wash it across the watercolor paper.  I used three different colors here.   Coastal Cobana,  Crisp Cantaloupe and Perfect Pistashio.    I also used the cork accessory I showed a few days back to finish off the card.

Paper- Watercolor Paper #122595 - $4.95, Basic Black, Coastal Cabana

Accessories- Cork Accessories (made by cork and our word bubble framelits),  Aqua Painter, Uni Glo white pen

Bunny Card

I thought it would be cute to use our new spiral flower die to make the bunny's tail. It turned out cute!  and easy to make.  To make the back ground I took our stampin write marker in so saffron, pear pizzazz, pink pirouette, soft sky and colored directly onto the chevron stamp, then stamped right onto the whisper white cardstock. 

Products Used:

Cardstock- whisper white, crumb cake, pink pirouette

marker colors- soft sky, pink pirouette, so saffron, pear pizzazz

Stamps:  Chevron background stamp, Delightful dozen

Accessories-  1 3/4" circle punch, 1 1/4' circle punch, large oval punch. spiral flower die

I already used up my whole sheet and LOVED the idea of cork images so I decided to go purchase a sheet of cork.  I bought the thinnest piece possible so that I could punch through it with hand punches or framelit dies.

It punches nicely using our Stampin' Up! punches

I used quite a few different punches and framelit dies

 I used our Stampin' Up! Uni Glo white pen to draw onto the cork. 

I also used our classic basic black ink pad and stamped right onto the cork.  Works great! Now add them to your cards, scrapbook pages, this and that book, the possiblities are endless~!

Tag Punch Bunny

I held my downline meeting this past sunday and one of my ladies Nadine Walters brought this adorable bunny candy holder! It holds one of those oohey goohey yummy cadbury creme eggs in the center.  She said she made it from the new tag punch.   I don't have the directions but stay tuned, I hope to get them from her and reveal how to make these!!!!  

13 Going on 30!

My youngest daughter is turning 13 this friday!   wowza did time fly!  I have been  getting together her gifts and doing a bit of wrapping.  She is obsessed with chevron patterns and the coastal cabana color. I was able to find this adorable chevron coastal cabana wrapping paper at TJ Maxx and went to work wrapping.  I made these cute tags for her gifts with the Spiral Flower die.  I showed these a few days back on our chevron tag a bag gift bags.  I used our retired Stampin Up! Letterpress Numbers stamp set as I wanted them to be super large.  So sweet, just like my baby!!!  Hope you are inspired!
