Diy pumpkin jar

With a few things I picked up at the Dollar Tree
these cute pumpkin jars can be easily made.
I saw these online and had to give them a try.

These are the jars at the Dollar tree and below are the
clip on pumpkins.....

Few things you need to get started;
an  exacto knife, glue gun, vinyl sheet

Take the clip out of the back of the pumpkin just
by sliding it out.  You don't need it for the project.

Next using the exacto knife cut a hole deep enough
into the pumpkin so that it fits on top of the jar.

Take a piece of copy paper and cut it down small enough
so that you can fit it over the jar where the indent is.
Rub your fingers over it to create the template
you will need to copy onto the vinyl.
Once you have the template cut it out of the copy paper
and use it as a template for the vinyl.
Cut the vinyl pieces out as you see below.
The vinyl is peel and stick so it's super easy to
attach to the jar.
Use chalk to write whatever you want on the jar,
I chose "Give Thanks" so that I can use
the jar for family to write what they are thankful for
and put in the jar.

Okay you should have your pumpkin "carved"
out, now using your glue gun add just a little glue
inside the pumpkin and pop right on top of
the lid of the jar.
How cute is this?!!!!
Think of all the possibilities!
