Hello and happy tuesday!
It's a BOO-thang over here, more ghosts,
but aren't they everywhere?
So, I saw on Pinterest this wood ghost and looked high and low as to where to purchase it. The gal that posted it said she sold them, nowhere to be found. Soooooo..... I thought, well, I am going to
try and paint this ghost myself!
And that I did! I am pretty sure hers is painted on wood and cut out on wood, but since I don't have any wood I got out some cardboard.
(thank you amazon!)
I penciled in a ghost by looking at hers, I literally cased it.
(what does "case' mean?, copy and steal everything!)
Using my pencil, I just sketched him right onto the cardboard
and started to paint away using white and and a taupe acrylic paint.
Just the little bottles of craft paint you get at the craft store.
I love how the cardboard makes his body have a bit of texture.
After he was dry I used a sharpie to outline him and add a few lines to his body. I think he is so stinkin boo-tiful!!!
I've got him in my bathroom window having a spooktacular time in there! Give it a try!
