Happy monday!
Shifting gears this weekend to a fun and easy holiday craft for you to try. I found these wooden snowmen at hobby lobby, 6 for $2.50 on sale and also picked up some little eyelets at the hardware store.
I grabbed my little hammer and aul and the eyelet.
Using the aul, hold it on top of the hat of the snowman,
take the hammer and give it a little tap to create
a small hole for a beginning for you to screw
the eyelet into the snowman.
Slowly turn the eyelet into the wood till you cannot see
the threads of the eyelet. Add some ribbon or baker's twine
through the eyelet and now you have the cutest ornament!
Love the simplicity of this ornament, makes a great hostess gift or ornament exchange gift.
Our family heritage is part Norweigan so I have embraced the Scandinavian style Christmas the last few years.
So minimal.... let me know if you try one!
