Oyhut Bay

Happy tuesday!
Left a little piece of my heart in this cute little town of Oyhut Bay.
My girlfriends all surprised me with this getaway for my birthday.
(it honestly has been a month of celebrating, not complaining!)
Anyway we stayed at the cutest little cottage right by the jetty called
Collins Inn seaside cottages.  What an amazing place!
These two pictures were at the beach in the morning,
so peaceful...... and cold!

Here we are freeeee-zing~

There was a high wind warning that night with extreme wind
gusts.  We all went to bed after midnight, but the storm kept
us up.  It was exciting and unsettling all together!

Of course we went shopping and this would be how I'd sum up the very cold day. I brought a pair of snow pants which I am wearing, but was still chilled to the bone.

I've always wanted to see Seabrook which is this cute cape cod styled community about 15 mins from where we were staying.  The charm of it all, I tell you.  Just adorable little town.  You felt like you had been transported to the East Coast.

There are over 450 of these charming homes here, some painted in bright colors and almost all hosting welcoming colored adirondack chairs on the porch, very idyllic.

Feeling love, celebrated and super spoiled.

Our saturday night consisted of a visit to Quinault beach resort casino
for a little birthday fun then off to eat at the infamous old world tavern  called Galway Bay Irish Pub offering every delicious Irish and American eats.  Their world famous corned beef and sauerkraut sammie hit the spot!.  So good! A must try!
You will be sure that I return to this peaceful area and explore more!
Have you been?
